Small Travel Trailer06 Feb 2006 20:41 GMT4
What size engine (towing package) does it take to pull a small travel
trailer?  I want to pull a 13 foot Fun Finder, Casita or a 13 ft Scamp
with my '93 Buick Pk Ave. (3.8L).  Any ideas would be appreciated.  The

African hoax06 Feb 2006 20:37 GMT48
As most readers know, we've reluctantly offered our class B for sale.
We've had a few sincere nibbles but mostly frivolous or fraudulent
stuff.  Just so YOU won't be surprised at what you get when you
advertise your RV for sale, here is a typical email:
Cheater box06 Feb 2006 16:40 GMT1
After 3+ years of full-timing in 50-amp rigs, I finally had a use for a
cheater box (like this: http://tinyurl.com/9bon4)
We recently spent a week at a fairground campground in Memphis. When we
were checking in, the host said "We only have 30 amp power, but you're
Dometic RM2652 thermister question.06 Feb 2006 16:25 GMT29
As some know from my last post, I've had a refrigerator problem which
left the refrigerator portion with temps in the teens. The thermister
measured fine so today I replaced the circuit board with a Dinosaur
P-711 (non-OEM). I have no idea if it fixed the problem yet since it

How to find an RV travel companion?06 Feb 2006 16:16 GMT7
A highly-educated senior friend, whose sight is partially
impaired by macular degneration, would like to find a
companion for occasional RV travel. He lives in the Los
Angeles coastal area and he cannot drive. Any ideas on how I
Prodigy brake setup06 Feb 2006 15:36 GMT2
I got the Prodigy as so many said it is the best out there.  Now I did as it
said to set the brakes and I can not get my trailer to lock up, even set way
up to the top setting.   Has any one else had this happen?  I have a smaller
trailer 20'  and have been running the controller ...
Winnwbago 'View'05 Feb 2006 21:28 GMT2
Don't have one ...yet...Been RVing since '92 and have seen just about
everything on the market. This one REALLY caught my attention. It is the
best built one 've ever seen! Looks like it was designed by someone who is
into RVing for more than the 'WOW' factor and how to impress ...
Transmission Question05 Feb 2006 19:47 GMT11
I've got a 2000 Toyota Tundra with about 75K miles on it and it's primary function is that of a tow vehicle (I drive a Saturn as my "get around town car").
My question is how long should one keep a car as tow vehicle before one starts to worry about the transmission going out on ...
Hunter's New Kitchen05 Feb 2006 02:41 GMT82
Hi Gang,
I'm knee deep in the bathroom remodel in the house, but here's the new
kitchen in my trailer.
The counter looks much brighter in the photo than it does in here.
New Sprinter class C05 Feb 2006 00:38 GMT50
Anyone here have a Winnebago 'View' class C or an Itasca 'Navion' class C
diesel that are built on the Sprinter chassis?
I would love to get some feedback.
Thanks
Underpressurized propane problem04 Feb 2006 21:13 GMT10
I'm new to RVs and got an old RV trailer a couple of weeks ago (an 84
20' Nomad).  I carried the propane tanks in to be refilled last week.
It's been several days I've been running off these new tanks and I seem
to be having problems.
Bahia Honda and RV Rental04 Feb 2006 08:16 GMT4
Bahia Honda looks like a good place to spend a couple of days while visiting
grandparents in Florida (Boynton Beach?) next (yes, next) winter.
Of course we won't be able to pack our trailer into the overhead on the
plane, so where, or from whom, should we rent an RV for camping on ...
Key West04 Feb 2006 06:46 GMT7
The Key West City Commission has started handing out parking tickets on
vehicles over 20ft in length parked on City Streets, or in any City
Parking area. They were letting everyone slide after Wilma, and until
just this week. The ticket is $75.

This may be an eye opener for some. It's what I suspected all along.
