EU1000i or EU2000i generator?14 Mar 2006 20:38 GMT22
The older I get, the more weight becomes a factor, even a measly
17 lbs., as I gotta lift it up 40 inches to slide it into the back
of my Ram 2500.  Size is a factor, I've only got a 6' pickup bed
and even without a generator, it can get fully crammed with camping
Shore power or generator question14 Mar 2006 18:19 GMT26
Probably a simple question for the old hands....

answers.... some say no, don't need to.... others say it's best to, it may blow
Grand Canyon Access Question14 Mar 2006 13:26 GMT3
I'm in the process of planning my 11th Annual Day Hike to the Bottom of
the Grand Canyon and Hopefully Back Out.  (Fortunately, I made it out
the last 10 times.)  I'll probably go mid-week during the last week in
April.
My Generac  Megaforce 6500 generator has no output14 Mar 2006 03:56 GMT5
I wonder if any of you nice people wouldn't mind giving a grandpa in
California a helping hand, as far as starting to check why my generator
doesn't have any output all of a sudden. The engine runs, but no joy as far
as electricity. I tried several items, just in case one electrical ...

Crow, Laughlin style13 Mar 2006 19:48 GMT22
Well, I just called three casinos in Laughlin.  It's a direct line from

Constant internet access13 Mar 2006 18:41 GMT20
I need some advice. I'm taking a group of 6 people (one from each
generation)  across the country this summer. The goal is to "interview
Americans" - each person will interview people of his/her own age,
broadcasting their perspectives, etc.

Ping Lon13 Mar 2006 15:03 GMT10
Hey Dad,
Didn't you switch directly from AOL to Walmart? If so, did you run
them side by side for a while? And, if so.... did you have any
problems?
Beginner Advice?13 Mar 2006 13:55 GMT31
My wife and I are late 40's and have always tent-camped. Now the kids
are out and we're getting a bit older and thinking of trying the RV
route. It would also come in handy when visiting relatives in NJ, we're
always welcome but sometimes affected by things like pet allergies or
Where Does the Isolator Wire Go?13 Mar 2006 13:51 GMT10
At least I think it's an isolator. It's mounted in the engine
compartment on an 81 Dodge. It's sortof cylindrical maybe 3 in. long
and 2 wide. One heavy wire goes to the starting battery and the other,
I believe, goes to the converter. There's a small wire, with an 8 amp
