I-10 El Paso to San Antonio29 Mar 2006 22:36 GMT34
We are leaving El Paso heading for San Antonio.  This is about a 560 mile
trip.  Would like to break it down into a 2 day trip, but I am having
problems finding campgrounds about half way there.  I have checked and there
are no Wal-marts even.  Is anyone familiar with this area?
Is it any good as a towing vehicle29 Mar 2006 18:22 GMT8
I'm in the market for a lightweight RV pop-top, probably around 16'. It's
weight would probably be in the vicinity of 1000Kg unladen.
My towing vehicle will be a Land Rover discovery TD5 manual, a 2.5L turbo
diesel.
TT tire question29 Mar 2006 16:48 GMT14
After many years of various class A's, have downsized to a small
travel trailer. (and I mean small..14' but it has everything our
'A' did except a generator and about 25' of room !  <g>)
Anyhow, read horror stories that some trailer mfgs put the least
WTH:  Baseplate Installer- DFW, TX area29 Mar 2006 12:00 GMT3
I just received my new Roadmaster baseplate and towbar as a gift.
Unfortunately, this generous gift did not include installation.  After
reviewing the instructions it appears that this may be more work than I want
to attempt.  Can anyone make a recommendation for an installer?  ...
Not all muslims are terrorists29 Mar 2006 07:30 GMT32
In a radio talk show some time back, a muslim woman called in and was
defending the religion.  She said 99% of muslims are good people and
do not commit terrorist acts.
I checked out how many muslims are in the world and found estimates of
Bush's Plan to Bring Our Troops home.......29 Mar 2006 06:44 GMT31
........one at a time in body bags - slipping them in under the cover of
night through Dover.
When Bush has a chance to be a war hero - he ran to Alabama to get his
teeth capped on the federal dole.
Tow vehicle modifications - dealer or someone else?29 Mar 2006 03:14 GMT5

2) Oil Cooler
New Agent Tips28 Mar 2006 19:14 GMT4
I've just taken some time to look over the latest release of Forte'
Agent's options menus.  They've fixed enough stuff that I've
temporarily, at least, canceled my move to Thunderbird.
In the previous release (prior to 3.3) they screwed up a BUNCH of
Trailer Tires Question28 Mar 2006 18:07 GMT14
Time to pick your brains again!
I read that the Wildcats such as the 27RL used to have 225/75/15s that were
load range C but now they went to a load range D in 2004ish on the same
trailer.  We have Goodyear 225/75R15 Marathon Trailer tires on our similar

RV Transport Services28 Mar 2006 14:52 GMT5
I just thought I'd post a comment on transporting an Airstream trailer.
I was asked by one of my clients (I run a mobile auto and boat detailing
company) to help them sell a beautiful 34' Airstream Classic Limited.  I
lined up an anxious buyer but needed to get the rig from Portland ...
Novice RV'ers headed for big trip28 Mar 2006 06:11 GMT38
I am a first time RV'er who may have bitten off more than I can chew. I
am trying to drive across the country in a class A RV. I was wondering
what websites provide listings of parks with hookups and space
listings, whether reservations are necessary, general road etiquette,

McAfee Home Network Security software28 Mar 2006 05:00 GMT21
I'm looking at an ad in the current PC World for the above "new"
product. It's a "Special Introductory Offer" of $9.99, but that's after
a $40 mail-in rebate (which I utterly detest dealing with).
I'm wondering what this software would offer me that would go beyond the
