Re. Honda EU3000 generators23 Mar 2006 02:58 GMT13
Couple of questions for EU3000 owners.
Is there a (convenient) way to charge the on-board battery other than by
running the generator?
What is the expected life span of the battery and what is the expected cost

The quick response by about 200 villagers in the fishing hamlet of Hartley
Bay, B.C., is being credited with averting what could have been a disaster
when a B.C. ferry with more than 100 passengers and crew on board sank in

Trying out an el cheapo laptop..............23 Mar 2006 02:47 GMT20
Took advantage of one of Dell's periodic sales and ordered a B130 for
$500.  It was scheduled to ship on Mar 23 but actually appeared on the
17th.  My Inspiron 8100 was $1444 so this one is a bargain.  So far I'm
well pleased with it.
RVing Tunes on the Road:  Modifying a MP3 Player23 Mar 2006 02:02 GMT10
CDs were fun for a while.  It soon becomes apparent that you'd need a few
hundred CDs to provide a proper music library for RVing.  There are now car
radios that play DVDs.  That allows you thousands of song.  Navigating the
DVD is the issue.  Finding one song in such a library ...
Toy Hauler Questions23 Mar 2006 00:43 GMT4
We were looking for potential RVs and being motorcyclists were really
interested in the Coachmen Freedom Ramp & Camp 295th because we could

we'd have a more lightweight/easy way to get around (this is a 30'
FREE WIFI WITHOUT MOOCHING OR STEALING22 Mar 2006 18:47 GMT43
Some here just can't stand the thought of anyone offering something
for free so as to bring their company or city business. They might as
well bury their head in the sand because it's here in full force. The
links below are just the tip of the Sahara!

Flat bed trailer or tow dolly?22 Mar 2006 07:14 GMT12
My partner and I are readying ourselves to travel full time in our 36 foot
diesel pusher.  We recently purchased a new Mazda Miata manual six speed.
Mazda says not to tow it four down for whatever reason.  It looks like we
have three choices:  one of us drive behind the RV;  tow ...
Dustyfoot Question22 Mar 2006 03:46 GMT10
A question for all the DirectWay experts out there.  About two weeks
ago I took possession of my Dustyfoot tripod and Directway dish.  I
have tried on three occasions to get this thing set up but so far no
joy.  The strongest signal I have obtained on the meter is a 28.  Is
Easy way to eliminate war22 Mar 2006 02:15 GMT9

Travel Bidet for RVers / Travelers21 Mar 2006 22:16 GMT19
The Travel Bidet is a MUST for people-on-the-go. This Unique Personal
Hygiene System makes cleansing more convenient and effective beyond
what toilet paper alone can achieve. It helps relieve the discomforts
caused by hemorrhoids, infections, itching, etc. It is also a great
