Hot water line dump valve21 Mar 2006 17:32 GMT12
I do a lot of boondocking and because of the location of my hot water
heater, every time I take a shower 1.5 gallons of cold water comes out of
the shower before it warms up.  I am planning on installing a 12 volt
solenoid valve near the shower, when the valve is open water will ...
Fresno, CA21 Mar 2006 07:02 GMT9
I'm being reassigned by my company to Fresno; CA for about two to three
months and they have graciously allowed us to use the Motorhome. That's
great but I have no idea where to stay, never been out there. Does the
group have any advise? Thanks for your help in advance!

Hey, I enjoyed this NG for the last five months but it's time to start a (slow)

Hope to see some of you this summer.

I am installing a Xantrex Prosine 3.0 Inverter/Charger this week and
need some advice/help. How do I stop the existing converter from
charging the batteries without losing the 12volt feed from the
batteries while not powered by 110 at all. The Magnetek folks haven't

OT?? -  WiFi connection utility?20 Mar 2006 21:06 GMT15
The default windows WiFi connection utility is slow, requires manual
refresh, and often times has trouble connecting. I'd like a software
utility that quickly refreshes available WiFi nodes and will also
connects to whatever selected open node I choose (not automatically). I

Proper Propane Connections- Paste? Tape? or ???20 Mar 2006 17:59 GMT11
What's the proper way to connect threaded-brass propane line fittings?
I've seen the white plastic tape used on my regulator connection (which
I duplicated when I replaced it). Now, I've got my furnaces out and I
see that a pasty-type substance was used previously on one connection,
Hey GBinNC20 Mar 2006 16:18 GMT7
I got an e-mail that said you used to live somewhere around Grandfather
Mountain.  Do you still live around that area?  That area (mostly Linville
Falls) is my favorite vacationing spot.  Been going to that area since before
the viaduct was built.  A little bit of God's country.
