EvDO booster antenna30 Apr 2006 13:48 GMT2
I have a friend who is presently in rural north-west coastal
California.  He has an EvDO card/service (I don't know the details)

US Gear Unified Tow Brake Install30 Apr 2006 13:06 GMT37
So I started the install of the US Gear tow brake tonight on the Vitara. Got
most of the work done on the car part and just need to run the wire and
attach the controller in the MH. It actually went pretty well. The
instructions are very clear. The only issues I've run into so ...

An EVDO to Wifi gateway in a notebook-sized linux box.
I think I've just solved my on-the-road internet access and my

Conquered My Fears Today30 Apr 2006 02:45 GMT6
Well, friends, today was the day. Fuel prices were down a few cents to
$2.79 and the heavy Chevy, a/k/a National Interstate, needed to have its
tank topped off. Barry pulled in the slides, hiked up the jacks (which
he fixed with the new part, a lot of muscle and a little more ...
slide in truck camper30 Apr 2006 02:00 GMT5
I bought a used slide in pop up truck camper.  I have no experience with
truck campers.
To lift the camper on and off the truck there are three hand crank jacks,
two on one side and one on the other. When the camper is raised high enough
Peak Oil29 Apr 2006 23:37 GMT112
Worrying about if we'll have enough money to fill up our RVs, SUVs, etc is
inconsequential compared to the hell that will be when we reach Peak Oil.
Read this but be prepared to get little sleep tonight.

More crappy weather in a week than we've seen in the last 6 months.
Arrived in the orchard about 1720 Wed.  Arms felt like boiled spaghetti
after fighting the wind all day.
ok, here i go........29 Apr 2006 19:50 GMT87
Hello people,
I have been thinking about someday traveling in a small RV.
I would like to get possibly a small one that could sleep 2.
Maybe one that could get aprox. 15 mpg??

overhead connected with a nationwide organization, the Will Sill

Price of Gasoline - Americans have not changed yet29 Apr 2006 13:05 GMT36
The price of gasoline has not had any effect on American consumption.
Americans love to cry gas prices - but Hummers - SUVs - big motor homes
- gas guzzlers - are selling like crazy.
I believe that gasoline will have to go up to $8.00 a gallon before
Gas fumes and Poly fiber29 Apr 2006 05:45 GMT11
I plan to store cans of gas in a cargo box attached to a flatbed trailer.
Sharing the box are tie down straps.  Does anyone KNOW if the gas fumes

With that said, for the sake of using a little less paper and needing a
little less storage space, I'm wondering what the consensus (could there be
