Any home builders?25 Apr 2006 18:08 GMT5
Anyone here built your own rv? I was looking boat building plans a
while back, and came across Glen-l marine. They also sell plans for
R.V.s and travel trailers. Anyone heard or them? I haven't been able
to find any other plans, except plans for the old teardrops, which would

To Tom  G. and Other Dreamers25 Apr 2006 16:38 GMT37
The price of a gallon of fuel should not keep you from fulfilling your
dreams. Life is very short and not everyone is blessed with the health
or ability to fulfill dreams. There are other things in the budget that
can be cut to compensate for the high cost of fuel, but there is ...
Favorite Campgrounds?25 Apr 2006 16:14 GMT53
I am new to the rving world, 3rd season.  We have taken ours into the
north GA mountains, TN, SC and FL.  But was curious as to what others
think is their favorite campground.
Ours I guess is Enota.  It takes a little getting used to, no cable

I am just recovering from surgery and radiation therapy for oral cancer
during which I needed more space (for a possible caregiver if needed-It
wasn't, but if I'd had to have chemo, I'm sure it would have been) and
toilet facilities than my Scamp 13' can offer, so I rented a cottage

Full Moon at the RV Park! :)24 Apr 2006 13:25 GMT4
A comment I made in another thread reminded me of a moment of humor at the
campground with my awning side opening to a busy area.
I went into the bedroom to change out of swim trunks and into pants.  I
closed the partition to spare my wife and kids the brief nudity scene.
Sheeting to replace undercarriage plastic on TT? 24 Apr 2006 08:19 GMT18
My TT is 1995 model year - and has a plastic (poly?) sheeting under
carriage, protecting what appears to be a nylon fabric, above which is the
floor insulation.
The plastic is ripped in several places and despite attempts to repair, it
Jack Tandem Wheel Travel Trailer24 Apr 2006 05:56 GMT5
Should I buy the Camping World $50 plus shipping and tax shaped form for
changing a flat on my tandem wheel trailer or should I just nail a couple of
2 x 4 short pieces together?
The form is a short ramp with bit of a curved cut out that will hold the
Black Spots on Roof: Travel Trailer24 Apr 2006 05:09 GMT4
Will do a Google search.  In the meantime, any tips on removing black spots
on roof?  Are these black spots of any significance?
Thanks
Solar Panels - how many to charge three batteries24 Apr 2006 03:01 GMT45
I have one 45 amp solar panel that will help add some charge to my
batteries, but since I added an extra cabin battery and then a seperate
battery for my inverter, it is not doing it's job properly.
The batteries are typical deep cycle 800 CCA Everstarts from Wally World.
Gas Prices have exceeded my pain level24 Apr 2006 02:41 GMT119
Guess the RV will be setting it out this summer.  Hell, I
spent a hundred bucks yesterday just filling up my car and
my wife's car.
I don't know why Dubya doesn't do something about it, after
Air Spring Installation24 Apr 2006 00:03 GMT2
After much research, and way to much testosterone, I decided to
replace a front airbag today. The kind that goes in the coil springs.
I learned a few things.
First, DON'T.
Help raise $ for Bush23 Apr 2006 23:55 GMT1
Dear Friends and Relatives:
I have the distinguished honor of being on the committee to raise $5,000,000
for a monument of George W. Bush.  We originally wanted to put him on Mt.
Rushmore until we discovered there was not enough room for two more faces.
