Fuel Milage, bucking and shuking and the decision to cross the lines15 Apr 2006 01:16 GMT57
Got the RV out on the open road this weekend.  New to us 06 F350 with
exactly 6000 miles doing the pull.  Since I've been towing the rig with an
03 F350 with a 7.3 liter PSD, I stuck to my Oval Loyalty when buying a
replacment truck in December.
Diesel Class C's15 Apr 2006 01:02 GMT7
I am thinking of purchasing a new diesel class c.  I had recently
decided on the Gulfstream Endura but after reading many negative
reviews I am a bit hesitant now.  Does anybody out there have any
positive feedback on this motorhome or perhaps the Jayco Seneca or any

Join us the weekend of May 12-14 at Chilliwack B. C. For those that don't

Visit with Carl (FL)14 Apr 2006 03:36 GMT1
Carl (chainfl) arrived in Town about 3:00 PM Monday and after taking in a
little shopping, stopped by the house.
I gave him a "tour" of the shop and some of my projects and we left for
dinner at the Great American Land & Cattle Co. Steakhouse.  We had a really
Are chains required on dolly?14 Apr 2006 01:58 GMT20
I plan to tow my VW Cab. this Sat. on a tow dolly San Jose to Utah.
I'll be going using I-80.  Chains may be required in Truckee.  The VW
will have its rear wheels on the ground.  Will I be required to put
chains on the dolly wheels?  Or just on my tow vehicle?
May Be A Good Summer To Stay Home13 Apr 2006 23:28 GMT9
I was reading an article in the Wall Street Journal today that
predicts a 25 cent per gallon rise in gas prices this summer.
That ain't good.  But it's not the price that may keep me home.
It's the mess that may come about by switching over to ethanol,

May go out to the Quartzite area next week. Just wondering how crowded

still lively??

Under 2500#, great mileage and good capacity when the seats are folded.

Happy Passover13 Apr 2006 16:11 GMT8
To all who celebrate, happy Passover! We will be with our congretagion
here in Harlingen to celebrate the traditional Passover Seder meal,
which, BTW, was the Last Supper so it is also celebrated in many
churches. The Seder recounts the Exodus of the Hebrews from Egypt. We
RV Camping at Jasper, Banff & Waterton?13 Apr 2006 14:33 GMT6
My family is renting a 30' RV and will be camping at Jasper, Banff &
Waterton National Parks during the last week of June.  We'll be staying
at the parks during the week (no weekends), so I was thinking we could
get away with no reservations.
Tent Trailers13 Apr 2006 12:06 GMT3
I'm helping my daughter and her kids pick out a tent trailer to buy. We
are down to a couple of brands but have no confidence that the dealer
prices we are quoted are in the ball park. We can find no wholesale
listings or even MSRP's for these units. We have found listings from
America's Mailbox, Rapid City SD13 Apr 2006 04:45 GMT1
