Antenna Replacement01 Jun 2006 00:49 GMT4
I am planning to replace my "batwing" winegard TV antenna with a crank up
satellite/OTA unit (model RM-DM61).  I have looked over the instructions and
it is pretty straightforward.  I have a rubber roof and want to know what is
the preferred sealant around here.  My rig is 6 ...
RV Break-ins/Theft - Any Advice?01 Jun 2006 00:16 GMT27
We're renting an RV in June for a couple of weeks (a 29' motorhome) and
we're going to Jasper, Banff, Waterton/Glacier, and also to Edmonton
and Calgary.  I am not too concerned about theft from the RV in the
parks while we're sightseeing, but I am a little concerned about theft
Gun Laws31 May 2006 23:32 GMT2
Here is a book that may be helpful to some RV's. (and keep you out of jail)
http://www.gunlawguide.com/
It tells the gun laws of every state.
Which states allow me to carry a "loaded" firearm in the passenger
Newsgroup while on the road31 May 2006 23:15 GMT22
Hope you guys can help.  I'm new to Wifi (first laptop) and tried it out at
a campground this past weekend.   I can access the internet and email, but
can't seem to access any newsgroups on "news.verizon.net".  Can I configure
my computer to use Verizon?  If not, what news ...

Using cellphone for 'net access31 May 2006 21:10 GMT11
Just thought I'd pass this hint along for those of you with cellphone
plans that have a "circle" of numbers you can call free anytime. (Alltel
and at least one other -- I forgot which -- are doing this now.)
One of my ten "circle" numbers is an Earthlink dialup access number.

Wildcat TT 2006 and 200731 May 2006 15:50 GMT1
We are seriously looking at 2006 and 2007 Wildcat TT in the (actual)
31-32 foot length. Have compared them with Cougar and Sydney Outback
and like them better. Have to have a fiberglass side. What are the main
problems associated with Wildcats?

5% rebate credit cards31 May 2006 08:23 GMT1
I had our mail forwarded to us today. Included was a letter that began
"Citi, the issuer of your AT&T Universal Cash Rewards Card, has decided
to discontinue this credit card for business reasons."
Fap! I hope Citi doesn't do the same with the other 5% cash back
Tornado and MH31 May 2006 06:58 GMT10
A bunch of us reserved a half of a NF campground for Mem Weekend in
North Idaho in the mountains.
It seems that the day  prior to our arrival a tornado hit the other
half of the campground. A freak of nature in North Idaho, for sure.
advice re: insurance for RV, too many tickets31 May 2006 03:55 GMT12
Hello, please can somebody make a suggestion.  I managed to rack up 5
speeding tickets in 2004-2005, and can't find an insurer for my RV.
Up to then, I had a sterling driving record.  My insurance agent just
sighs.  Surely there must be some RVers in Canada who have suffered
Bring your own car!31 May 2006 03:39 GMT66
While out walking last night, I saw a Hurricane Class A 30+ ft. MH
parked with a full size sedan on a U-Haul flatbed trailer hooked to
it. I saw a man in an open MH window and asked him about the hitchup.
He and another guy said they had tried a U-Haul car dolly, but it was
Gray Water Fills up ... Black water almost empty31 May 2006 01:12 GMT24
My (2006 Hurricane 33H) RV has a larger Black water tank than Gray Water
tank. The gray water fills up quickly while the black water is usually below
25%.
It seems stupid to have such large black water tanks (only 1 pluming outlet
