New awning !!!!01 Jul 2006 00:45 GMT2
I just got a phone call from my daughter. Her husband tied the awning
to the four wheeler to hold it down from some gusty winds. He went
inside to have something to eat. Then he came back out, jumped on the
four wheeler, and ripped the awning off their motorhome.
Anyone seen this ?01 Jul 2006 00:38 GMT10
This looks like a expensive toy to me.
I suppose if you had to park your trailer in a confined area this might be
worth the price.

I've had this Magellan 315 for about 5 years now.  I have used it a couple

tires.  I used it once to mark a downed elk and find it the next day.  I
tried to use it once in the turkey woods of Central ...

Got an exhaust leak on the right side manifold on the motorhome. It's a
Damon Cahllenger, 1997 on a 1996 P-30 Chassis, 454. Everybody I have
talked to that had or has a 454 has told me that at one time or another
they have had an exhaust leak. You would think that Chevy would have

Using my genny for power outage at home29 Jun 2006 17:22 GMT93
We had 5 hours of power outage on Saturday at home.  I headed to Home Depot
to pick up a couple 50 amp plugs to splice together so I could plug the
house into the genny in the RV.  I was going to turn off the main breaker so
as not to run voltage back into the supply and zap the ...
Check that visibility----90 miles!29 Jun 2006 15:36 GMT6

Temps are not bad for southern AZ.  Present temp of 68 as compared to 86
at Luke AFB at Phoenix.  I think one could actually survive a summer in
Sierra Vista.

I would appreciate any opinions on this deal. I can't stand haggling -- I
know it's part of a sale and I don't have to like it. I know I have to do
it.

Repairing fiberglass fenders28 Jun 2006 17:42 GMT2
Both of my fiberglass fenders are broken, no missing pieces, just torn. Went
to get some fiberglass supplies to try to repair it. They sell mat and
fabric. The fabric is noticeably thinner. My question is when should you use
mat, and when should you use fabric?
