TT wheel alignment31 Jul 2006 21:16 GMT13
I have a 25 ft. 1999 Sunlite TT that wears out tires on the inside one
or two lines of tread.  Visually it seems if  the tires are splayed
out.  Can I get the suspension alligned?   One RV center said it
couldn't be done without replacing the axles.
No 12 Volt Joy31 Jul 2006 19:45 GMT104
Hi Gang,
I got a cool new toy today, an amplifier to make my cellphones 3
watts..... it plugs into the 12 volt hole in the wall.
I plugged it in and no joy.  I plugged something else in and no joy
Bless Don Bradner31 Jul 2006 19:34 GMT4
We have been traveling in Canada and Alaska with another couple for the
last six weeks or so. Our friend has a DirecWay F2 (one meter) automatic
dish on his toad, and I carry a 32" satellite TV dish for use when north
of the Lesser 48.
Don't visit Gunnison31 Jul 2006 07:12 GMT32
It's time to stand up and be counted. Boycott Gunnison, CO.
I was at the Wal-Mart in Gunnison today, and noticed signs in the parking
lot that said "NO CAMPING", then "Violators will be towed". The parking lot
of the grocery store next door had "NO CAMPING", signs in their lot.

Shrunken cold water line to water heater31 Jul 2006 03:25 GMT5
I'm (finally) un-winterizing my TT. I went to reattach the cold water
line to the water heater...and it doesn't reach. I can almost get it
attached, but only if I want to cross-thread it. Is this normal?
Maybe the rest of the trailer has stretched and outgrew the water
gatlinburg pigeon forge dollywood blue ridge mts and?31 Jul 2006 03:07 GMT30
We are revising our plans, instead of heading to Maine, maybe we'll go
south, through the Blue Ridge Mountains, Great Smoky Mt Park, etc.  Any
guidelines, ideas, suggestions, road restrictions (we have a 33' fifth
wheel, no fear about driving).
macerator to tank in truck31 Jul 2006 02:39 GMT20
We're planning to get a macerator to pump the RV tanks into an
auxiliary holding tank in the pickup truck to take to the dump station
(about 20 miles away). I've been reading all the old threads and info
on the net but have a few questions.
Walmart parking31 Jul 2006 01:51 GMT329
Just left The "Dollywood area".  Learned that the City of Sevierville,
TN has an ordinance against parking at Walmart and that the city
police will give you a ticket if they catch you.  Add the city of
Sevierville to the list of RV unfriendly places to avoid.

Storage of RV in hot climate31 Jul 2006 00:41 GMT6
Has anyone ever stored their RV, a 5th wheel in particular, in a hot climate?
We're expecting to return to our vacation condo in San Diego between September
15th and 20th.  Last year we store our 5th wheel near El Centro (Imperial Valley)
rather than San Diego as it cost $40/month ...

The taste of crow30 Jul 2006 15:34 GMT37
Several months ago there was a thread that concerned the towing capacity of
a Fleetwood DP. Fleetwood had listed the capacity at 10,000 lbs. I
maintained that they would not list this number in the documents, online,
and on the rig, if the rig was not capable of actually towing ...
Ping: Hunter "My Middle Name Is Renovation" Hamp30 Jul 2006 14:42 GMT18
Hey Hunter.  Did you ever do any concrete staining?
I've gotten a couple of bids to cover the back porch slab with
sandstone, and the lowest is $2100.  The highest was $2600.  A
friend of mine suggested I stain the concrete to look like rock.
