Mosquito Remedy07 Jul 2006 05:07 GMT9
Mosquito Remedy
Pass this on to anyone who likes sitting out in the evening or when
they're having a cook out.  So you don't like those pesky mosquitoes,
especially now that they have the potential to carry the West Nile
GE Generator Interlock (Electrican Defeating Device)07 Jul 2006 03:46 GMT2
Observing that adding a separate generator panel is good only for
electricians, GE has a neat device to allow a load center to double as a
generator panel.  Check out

Airbag Noise07 Jul 2006 02:18 GMT19
Our motorhome, a 97 32' Bounder, has developed a wierd noise in the front,
drivers side corner.  When we are on rough road conditions or very curvy
roads, the front right starts to squeel - sometimes for twenty minutes or
so.  Has this happened to anyone else? I think it might be ...
Towing 5th Wheel vs Travel Trailer07 Jul 2006 01:31 GMT61
Just picked up the new 5th wheel this afternoon.  It's a 35'
Crossroads towed with a K3500 Chevy pickup.
The good:
No sway whatsoever from passing trucks.  Not even a correction with
Slow cooker?06 Jul 2006 21:50 GMT20
I just noticed that Coleman is now marketing a propane fueled crock pot. It
uses a 16oz disposal gas tank (though I imagine you could run a hose from
your RV's tank).
Anyone tried this guy out yet?
A great Fouth of July06 Jul 2006 15:24 GMT11
What a day we had yesterday.
We left Fort Supply, COE at about 9:00 am, and took US-270 East into the pan
handle of Oklahoma to US-83 North, to Garden City, KS. We took this route
for a very specific reason. I had to stop and have a picture taken with the
rear windows in diesel pushers06 Jul 2006 00:21 GMT9
Does anyone know why motorhomes, diesel pushers, have no windows in the
rear?  Is it possible to have one installed?  And if installed, can it be
the type that can be opened?
Electric hookups 10105 Jul 2006 23:02 GMT105
Wow! I've just read 100 messages in The Great 50A/30A Flame War, and
have determined that my life may be in danger if I drop anchor in the
wrong outlet. Folks 'round here are pretty passionate about it.
In my [relatively small amount of] past experience, I've never worried
Towing with a 4x405 Jul 2006 22:58 GMT60
We went looking at trucks yesterday.  We've pretty much decided to go
ahead and trade, but I'm concerned about the switch from a 4x2 to a
4x4.
The new truck will ride about 6 - 8 inches higher at the tailgate than
4 down05 Jul 2006 20:57 GMT5
I just saw a 1997 Geo Metro in very good shape.
This would be the perfect toad for me.
How would I find out what has to be done to tow it 4 down ?
I know there are sites that tell how cars can be towed but every one I have
My Flag Is Old........05 Jul 2006 18:12 GMT9
.....But Is Flying Today.
I had to repair it again this morning. Little bail wire to get it
attached to the standard well and it is up again. Same deal
on June 14.
Trailer tires vs. Passenger tires05 Jul 2006 17:13 GMT10
What happens when you run passenger tires instead of trailer tires . Just
curious about the differences...  Runk.....

Is it legal to tow and RV from I-80 up US 209 to I-84 through the
Delaware Gap NRA?  Thanks

Fort Supply COE05 Jul 2006 12:56 GMT30
For Lon, and others headed this way.
We're here at the Fort Supply, OK, COE Park. It's a typical COE park, with
big, flat spaces. Water and 30 amp electric and dump stations available. If
you have a rooftop sat dish, you'll be to get a view if the SW sky from
Automatic Awning Question05 Jul 2006 11:18 GMT8
I deployed our A&E Electric awning. It's working fine. I went to switch
it over to automatic (the wind sensor thing) and it started beeping. I
think this was happening last winter and that's why I switched it.
Does anyone have an idea why it is beeping and how to fix it? I checked ...
