Hershey PA05 Jul 2006 11:10 GMT25
We're in VA right now heading north. After a couple days in DC we wanted to
stop in Hershey for a day or two on our way to CT & RI.
I've checked the campground guides & http://rvparkreviews.com/ and I'm not
real happy with any of the CG's there. For us it seems to be a toss up
Learned Something New05 Jul 2006 11:03 GMT38
Barry took the motorhome for inspection this morning. He started it up
and then went to close the slides. Nothing worked. I suggested he shut
the engine. Everything worked. Now we know that the slides have a
fail-safe that prevents them from moving if the engine is running.
Parking your heavy motorhome -- compacted mulch vs. asphalt or concrete?05 Jul 2006 05:51 GMT51
Hate to interrupt the stalkers, trolls, and political discussions for
an on-topic item, but I do have a question.  We have purchased a PT-40
Bluebird Wanderlodge and want to build a pad to park it.  This sucker
weighs 22-23 tons on three axles.  We are in Florida and quite a few of
Lovely Visit with Mr. and Mrs. Ram Cubed05 Jul 2006 01:47 GMT1
We stopped in Wharton, TX on our way to Houston this afternoon and had a
wonderful visit with Bob and Terri. They are great people and Barry and
I are proud to have them as friends. We are hoping that they keep their
promise and come visit us in The Valley this winter so that we ...

Stay A While04 Jul 2006 19:58 GMT21
Several years ago I bought an electric BBQ grill. I got it because I didn't
want to carry, and mess with an extra propane tank, and I didn't like the
little propane one I had. There were 2 problems with the electric one. If I
didn't have hookups, I had to run the generator to use ...

I live 100 miles north of the greater Seattle area.  How do I go about
finding a reputable/reliable dealership for a new Class "C" purchase?
Already have eliminated Poulsbo RVs.
Thanks.
Tail light problem04 Jul 2006 14:05 GMT15
We got home last night from a week in the Poconos. We I turned onto
our block, I notice that the right flasher was clicking much faster
than normal, (not a good sign).
This morning I checked and found no voltage at the bulb socket or at

Thanks for all your help on my car camping I-80 planning question.
Everything is coming together, but I have a lingering question.  Packing
food and keeping it cold/frozen for 1 person for 6 days.
What I have now is an Igloo polycarb style cooler (30 Gal or so) I've taken
WILL SILL SEEN GNAWING THE HEADS OFF OF LIVE CHICKENS03 Jul 2006 16:15 GMT1
+++Yes, it's true, usenet readers, Will Sill was seen last Friday
gnawing the heads off of several live chickens in an apparent dementia
episode that left his family and neighbors aghast and in shock.  The
sight of the hapless birds flapping their wings in the last throes of
"Full Length Closet" Fix03 Jul 2006 13:57 GMT28
The so- called full length closet in our trailer is too short to hang my
pants on a clip hanger like I do at home so they don't wrinkle.  Been
hanging them up in the trailer living room overnight, and am fed up with
that.
Plumbing Repair Question03 Jul 2006 04:59 GMT9
I have a 1986 TravelCraft 25' Class C which is for sale, but it has one
problem that I need to fix.  There is a plumbing leak which I'm all but
certain is coming from the supply side of the system, not the drain side.
Here's why:

Unfortunately, almost all of the dealers have stopped doing business
