Escapees Mail28 Jul 2006 21:19 GMT9
A couple of years ago I belonged to Escapees.  I dropped my
membership when it became clear that I was never going to stay at
any of the parks or take advantage of any of the usual benefits.
Nothing against the organization, just never used it.
Dear Janet28 Jul 2006 15:03 GMT312
I see where you got yer undies in a bunch again.
"When I posted here about my having cancer, he didn't have the
decency to offer as much  as a "good luck".
You have proven to be a dishonest and vindictive person who seems to
Cingular for internet ?28 Jul 2006 13:11 GMT12
A recent post of mine asked about Verizon.  I'm actually locked into
Cingular until December.  Can anyone recommend Cingular for web surfing
while on the road?
Thanks
Gettin' Ready for Pismo and San Diego28 Jul 2006 12:48 GMT1
Well, as fascinating as the WalMart shooting and WalMart Parking topics have
been, having made my share of pointed, yet meaningless contributions, I feel
the need to contribute something RV related, even something superficial.
So, believe it or not, summer is coming to a rapid ...
Verizon wireless data question28 Jul 2006 10:28 GMT78
I'm sitting here going into the second hour to tech non-support trying
to get a friend's National Access connection going.  He has an LG
phone and the mobile office kit.  We've installed the software and are
at the point where Network connections is asking for a username and
Oops.28 Jul 2006 10:28 GMT25
We'll be heading back home today from being on the road several months and
our friends/tenants who stayed at our home tried starting our car in the
garage today to make sure everything was cool.  Unfortunately, they said it
was dead as a doornail.

Scroll down to see the list of states. This list misses over half of
Michigan's waterfalls, but includes all of the best ones.

I'm kicking around the idea of converting my GMC/Izuzu medium duty
truck into an RV.  I love the way it drives and the great gas mileage.
One consideration is to convert the existing box into a "toy hauler"
configuration, with the front being the living section and the back
Trip Report ~ Chevy HHR Toad as a Road Car28 Jul 2006 02:31 GMT11
We just got back from a week long trip from Brentwood, Ca to
Port Townsend, Wa in our 2006 Chevy HHR Toad. We went
on this trip for fun and business. Fun with friends in PT and
business doing research re: building a home on the lot we
New Stamps28 Jul 2006 01:36 GMT7
Hi Gang,
Patti came home with the coolest stamps, my immediate thought was all
RVers would want to get them.
They are called Wonders of America
Small RV fix28 Jul 2006 00:10 GMT28
Heading out tomorrow morning to visit our son and his young family in
Norfolk (Navy).  This will be the first long distance test for the little
Sprinter.  The only problem with a small rig like this is the lack of extra
storage space for "stuff" and for items like a new highchair ...
intro27 Jul 2006 21:53 GMT2
My name is Jillbe, and I am new to the group. I am way into RV and tent
camping, and have been to 36 states so far on my travels. I love free
camping the best though, which is prevalent where I live in the Pacific
Northwest.
you can sue, FEMA trailers27 Jul 2006 20:42 GMT29
If I was them, I wouldn't worry about it. The next hurricane season is
approaching. If you aren't out of a FEMA trailer by now, it just goes
to show you why you were slow getting out the first time.
Hurricane victims: FEMA trailers made us sick.
Pictures of lightning27 Jul 2006 19:55 GMT4
Last night, about 10:00 or so, we had a great lightning storm to the North
of us, that then moved in a SE direction, and passed over the hills to the
East of the RV Park. I put the wide angle lens on the camera, set the camera
to manual, and manual focus. Set the shutter speed to ...
Using solar panels in an RV?27 Jul 2006 19:40 GMT47
I'm curious how many of you RV owners have and use
solar cell panels in your RV?
What do they power and how easy has it been?
What type of lighting in the RV do you have? LED?
