Hi Group!
Just wondering if anyone has researched the best cell phone plans available
presently in Canada?  Prepaid or contract.

I must be the only one up and about...............26 Jul 2006 16:25 GMT17
Back pain woke me up at 2 AM and I'm wide awake.  Finished my latest
John Sanford book (Dead Watch) yesterday and haven't started anything
new.  Usually read when I'm awake at this hour.
Where is the night owl, bill horne?
Electrical Problem26 Jul 2006 14:33 GMT18
Hi gang,
Okay, a new mystery to solve.
Patti and I both have large fans running for our horses to stay cool.
The ones on her barn are at each corner facing in.
Camping in New Mexico26 Jul 2006 13:46 GMT2
We are planning a trip to New Mexico next summer. I know that it is
early but have to save the money and all the other things.
These are the areas and state parks that we are looking at. Does anyone
have any likes or dislikes about these areas and/or state parks.
Friday on the Calif. Coast26 Jul 2006 06:05 GMT11
Took our motorhome out for a shakedown before leaving on a trip.  We haven't
used the rig since late April.  So, we headed down the coast (we live just
above San Luis Obispo).  We were going to stop at a no reservations spot
just north of Ventura.  Heading south on 101, we took ...
a stinky problem - boneheaded design26 Jul 2006 03:20 GMT68
Just got home from BC this AM & want to share a horror story.
We were sitting peacefully behind the bus drinking beer and eating
fresh raspberries when a neighbour woman stopped to ask for
assistance.  "Our husbands are all gone for the week and my friend's
How should a novice buy a travel trailer?26 Jul 2006 03:08 GMT26
Seems to me, that here, on the west coast, one should
expect to pay $1,000.00 per foot of length for a new travel
trailer. Correct?
I'm pretty sure I'm going to go new, but I have some
Short bed pickups26 Jul 2006 00:29 GMT33
I have noticed on this most recent trip that there is an abundance of short
bed P/Us towing fifth wheel trailers.
I have paid particular attention to them when they are being maneuvered into
tight spots.  Without exception (on this most recent trip) I have observed
Re: OT - GPS software - Maybe on topic depending on what you play with while driving your RV down the road25 Jul 2006 23:54 GMT23
The company that made his hardware rated the accuracy of his GPS.  This is
their current specification, not one from "a few years ago".  With GPS
systems you have at least two sources of error.  First, there can be error
caused by the satellites.  Second, there can be error ...
Probably the Dumbest Question Ever25 Jul 2006 22:42 GMT32
But I have to ask.  We are new to RVing having just purchased a
Starcraft Antigua 27 foot travel trailer.
I just received the plates... how do I attach the stupid things?  I see
that the driver side turn signal has tabs, but I just keep staring at

Looking to purchase a generator. Any suggestions by you seasoned
veterans?
Converter heat25 Jul 2006 17:56 GMT12
I have a Progressive Dynamics converter (circa 1989) in the Bounder. I
will go get the model number if required. This last week we ran the 2
AC's extensively in this 100+ degree heat. I happened to put my hand
on the face of this converter with the AC's on, and it was quite warm.
biodiesel question - B99 vs B20 vs regular diesel25 Jul 2006 17:44 GMT4
There's a station in Santa Cruz that is selling B99, a fuel mixture of
99.9 percent vegetable oil-based biodiesel and 1 percent petroleum.
Most biofuel blends use a much higher percentage of regular diesel,
such as B20, which holds up in colder climates.  A more biodiesel-rich
