Kingdome and Directv local channels24 Jul 2006 19:43 GMT23
While we were in the Daytona Beach area we had local channels for the MH
with no problems.  Today I called DTV to change the MH locals to El Paso.
Everything seemed to go smoothly.  After ~ 1/2 hour, I had the listings in
the program guide, but no programming.  Another call to CS ...

*Considering the following article on the subject in the rv travel.com
news letter.  The people pushing this is actually *The Canadian

them. I think the way to limit their push to get as much money from an
Verizon Broadband.... any good for full timers?24 Jul 2006 16:28 GMT1
Now that we're full timing, we miss having Internet access all the
time.  We no doubt spend more than the $60 per month in WiFI coffee
houses that the Verizon plan would cost. Any of you use Verizon broad
band?  Does it work outside of metro areas?  How well does it work?
HOT in the Bay Area!24 Jul 2006 15:43 GMT16
Posting from my Brentwood home in the East Bay of the
San Francisco Bay Area, where it was 112 degrees today.
Right now, at 10:30 PM, it has cooled down to 96. It was
also this hot in Central Contra Costa County today in
Some nice things we've discovered about RVing24 Jul 2006 14:24 GMT18
My wife and I (and our Yorkshire Terrier) have part-timed for months at a
time for the last two years.  That is, we still have our home, but spend 5-6
months on the road at a time.  Over that time, we've stayed a lot of
different places -- plugged in at friend's homes, cheap ...

Hi Gang,
I have an intermittent problem.
Every once in a while my shower dribbles instead of ... well...

Ping Peter Pan24 Jul 2006 04:30 GMT2
Hey Marc, just a note to let you know that on Altell, when you cancel
the web connect, the enhanced messaging stays as it does on Verizon.  So
you can still connect after the free month.
Need Info on Mtn. Passes24 Jul 2006 04:11 GMT15
Where can I find info on Interstate Highway mountain passes, particularly
elevation and grade?  I will be driving a 25 foot Class C with a 350 engine
from Ohio to CA and I'm trying to decide which route will be least taxing on
the engine.  Thanks.  -Tim

Montrose, CO. July 21, 2006. Got ready for my shower this morning, and no
water pressure. Couldn't figure out what happened, because last night the
water pressure was great. Walked out to the side of the rig, and there was
nothing wrong with my hoses. Just then the lady next door ...
