Torque/HP23 Jul 2006 19:24 GMT9
I know from time to time this subject comes up. We were visiting Mystic
Seaport in CT on Tuesday & they had this engine on display.
It was built by Wichman about 1930 & was called a semi-diesel.
It was 2 cylinder, 2cycle, naturally aspirated, reed valve induction, dry

Remember Oppressive Long-Distance Rates?/A New Call Screening Device22 Jul 2006 21:17 GMT38
RVers need to communicate.  Prior to cell phones, long-distance charges were
oppressive.  We did some pretty neat stuff to avoid toll charges.  What I
used to do is at www.wolfswords.com under the motorhome then telephone
links.
A million dollar view22 Jul 2006 20:57 GMT45
On Friday 7/14 we made our shortest move ever. 1.02 miles, from Blue Mesa RV
Resort, to Gunnison Lakeside. We were there 3 days, and did a bit of
driving, and sight seeing. Crested Butte, and then down to Lake City. I'm in
love with this country, the view, and the people here. I ...
truck camper plus tent trailer ?22 Jul 2006 18:36 GMT23
With the price of gas and all, I have been thinking of a combination
4 cyclinder truck with ultr light truck camper or something like a
flip-pac
or maybe a more expensive four wheel camper (500 pounds). This combined

Please forgive me if this is a duplicate post. I don't think the first
one worked.
Some of you may remember that I joined Coast to Coast Delux and Resorts
of Distinction after a high pressured sales pitch at a campground in
Re: OT ~ Jack...Yard Watch Cat22 Jul 2006 02:34 GMT1
I will not be declawing any more because Cody is my last cat. When
he's gone that's it...I think. That's the plan anyway.

Electrical cable for cabover21 Jul 2006 16:23 GMT1
I can't really afford to pay someone at the moment, so I'm hoping to get
this setup myself. I am trying to install the large thick electrical cable
used to charge a cabover battery in an old 1989 Vactioneer I recently
purchased. The converter/inverter is draining my battery when ...
2006 Hurricane Motor Home21 Jul 2006 15:32 GMT2
Have any of you had trouble with your Hurricane motor homes?  It is made
by 4 winds and mine has been the true lemon.
A fine morning at the lake.21 Jul 2006 14:47 GMT24
Got up early again to avoid being fried while fishing.  Clouds have been
sparse for the past week.  A few drops with some thunder Sunday night
and that's it.  Cooled down nicely last night, so much that the lake was
steaming this morning.
Resealing windows21 Jul 2006 04:57 GMT27
I spent the weekend resealing all the windows on my TT since I discovered a
slight leak in my front window on a recent trip to PA in a driving rain.  My
rig is now seven years old so I suspect it was due for this maintenance.
It's not hard just time consuming getting the old putty ...

We made it back!  We left BC last Thur AM and arrived early today after our
stop in T or C, NM.  On the way back we came down I15 to I70 to US89 to
Flagstaff.  Another extended trip up or down 89 is a must.  Electric and

Getting ready to move20 Jul 2006 20:59 GMT5
What a great time we've had here. Crested Butte, Lake City, Hotchkiss.
Standing and looking at the lake, then sitting and looking at the lake, then
looking out the windshield at the lake.
Had a great visit with Dave and Linda Woodruff. Went to early dinner at the
