I started the thread on the 110v AC thermostat and have a bit more info. The DuoThem manual shows a total amp draw of compressor and fan of just over 8 amps. I'm guessing the 'startup' draw would be higher,just don't know how much.

For those who don't already know this, who might want to watch TV while sitting outside your RV and when on the RV's own antenna, I just discovered that the outside connection normally used to hook up to cable is also an ordinary outlet when using your own antenna.
