Owen, I've lost my laptop to a storm and don't have your
email anymore. Haven't heard from you folks if you got to
Weedsport okay and am concerned. Was hoping to get together
with you this week and it is slipping away. Please either
Teardrops??$$01 Aug 2006 22:35 GMT5
For many years I have been fasinated by teardrops. I took a look at
www.teardrops.net.
They have a section of teardrops for sale. I was really surprised at
the prices. Anywhere from $3500 to $12,500. This makes me wonder....
AC thermostat possible ?01 Aug 2006 18:09 GMT30
Have a small TT with in the roof AC. Works fine, but never shuts off.
The 'cooling' will cycle to keep a constant temp, but the fan runs
whenever the unit is on. I know this is the way these units work.
Question: Is it possible to put a thermostat in the 110 line that
I also have a thermostat problem01 Aug 2006 17:50 GMT4
All this talk about thermostats got me
thinking about the one in my MH.
The thermostat in my MH is pure junk.

Mouses!01 Aug 2006 15:07 GMT13
Speaking of critters, vermin, and other pests...
I'll be storing our MH for the next months -- on and off -- in SoCal.  Like
most areas, there can be pests like mice.
What are some people's experiences with mice and MHs?  What to avoid?  How

OK, I've got a few more pictures up, and a bit of travel updates. I'm

that and play all day.
This link runs from April 24th to mid July.
Wasps!01 Aug 2006 13:34 GMT32
I'm not talking about my White Anglo-Saxon Protestant brethren.
I brought my trailer home from the farm today.  I wanted to get it ready for
next weeks trip.  I noticed a wasp nest inside my exterior microwave or
stove vent.  From there it almost became material for americas ...
Great time in Colorado with Bob & Mary01 Aug 2006 04:09 GMT1
Well it has been a wonderful two weeks here in Gunnison, CO., but we have to
pull out tomorrow.  I don't know if I will have access to my newserver at my
next stop so I may not be able to keep up for a few days.  We managed to
meet up with Bob and Mary Hatch while here and are ...
Dually Q01 Aug 2006 03:41 GMT12
Friend's SIL just came back from Iraq.  SIL and family live near Ft Drum

Dually was mostly parked but was used enough to get salt and stuff in

Wind Wedge and Wind Tunnel Designs01 Aug 2006 01:58 GMT3
Several years ago, we purchased a "wind wedge" air deflector (for a
pickup pulling a fifth wheel), but I can't recall the manufacturer.
We've gotten a new truck and would like to get a new mount for the
deflector.
Okay to drill TT frame rail bottom?01 Aug 2006 01:43 GMT14
After raising my TT (1988 Cobra Salem 26') by moving the axles from
over the springs to under the springs, I've finally found some
reasonably priced appropriate pieces of rubber to use as bump stops.
The simplest way to install them appears to be bolting them to the
