Towel Rail?28 Aug 2006 18:07 GMT14
My better half wants to hang a towel rail in the washroom of our
Zeppelin.
It looks to me that the panel is only 1/4" thick so a conventional
drywall plug wouldn't do the trick. If I can locate an aluminum rib
Which toad brake to buy?28 Aug 2006 18:04 GMT4
I've been looking at Brake Buddy, Blue Ox Apollo and Roadmaster Even
Brake for my Jeep Wrangler.
All of these cost more than my first, or second, or third car but I'd
hate to get the wrong one if just a few hundred more would be perfect.
Help wiring Toad (Wrangler) which already has 4 pin connector28 Aug 2006 17:52 GMT9
Question,
I want to hook my wrangler up to a 29ft class C and tow her around.
The wrangler is already wired with a 4 wire harness on the rear for
towing small trailers.  Can I just plug the RV into the 4 pin harness
fifth wheel mounting28 Aug 2006 16:29 GMT33
This may be a bit juvenile, but I really don't know:
I need to install a fifth wheel in a long-bed pickup. Having never looked at
how they are mounted, I'm going to take a guess. Maybe 3, 1/2" holes along
each side through the bed? Do they use any kind of re-inforcement strap?
Auto coolant leak in RV water heater28 Aug 2006 15:53 GMT5
Howdy,
Does anyone have experience with the automotive anti-freeze leaking from
their Atwood 10 gallon water heater?
I have pink coolant leaking around the base of the water heater that uses

Plotting our fall journey, I'm contemplating some roads which don't show
up in my Mountain directory, or which may lack enough info in spite of
being listed.
US-56 from Clayton to Springer, NM.
Upgrades28 Aug 2006 04:36 GMT8
Which reminds me, I do this automatically but never remember to remind
people.  When you go to upgrade of install new software, and whether you
back up data or not, it's a good idea to reset your "Restore Point".  As
long as you can get back in thru the safe mode, you should be ...
Peterbuilt "Vista Cruiser" Owners?27 Aug 2006 20:50 GMT30
Does anyone in the group own one of these rv's, or know anyone who does?
My wife is career-changing [aka "retiring"] next year. We have been
bitten by the travel bug, so we went out looking last weekend for a
small rv, for just her and I.
More snow27 Aug 2006 20:27 GMT1
Yesterday we had one heck of a storm here in Montrose. Winds high enough to
rock the MH, and the gusts bad enough that I finally got worried about the
slide room awning, so I retracted the slide. It blew, rained, and hailed.
Hail about 1/4 inch or so, and lots of it. It rained ...

A few More Questions about Motorhome and toad27 Aug 2006 04:15 GMT12
Is there a problem with toads being hit with rocks from the motorhome
even if it has a flap?
The motorhome has a skirt or flap that is full length and about 4 or
five inches off the road.
Bed Bugs27 Aug 2006 02:21 GMT5
Just saw my local news with a report about the increase in bed bugs.  Sure
is making me think twice about staying in hotels when I can stay in my
trailer for relatively local travels.
Leaks in trailer27 Aug 2006 00:29 GMT3
My parents have a travel trailer that is roughly 10 years old.  This
year they've had MAJOR leaks that all seem to be coming through the
siding and the roof areas, most of it around the joints and windows and
any other kind of opening.  Is there some kind of a sealant that they
Computer Backup27 Aug 2006 00:10 GMT110
I'm having some problems with my laptop.
I experienced a complete and utter crash down to CMOS, and had to
reinstall XP, after installing AVG on my system.  I don't know if
there was a connection, but I'm still using AVG and no problem in
