Prodigy message NC07 Sep 2006 16:47 GMT5
I have a prodigy controller ( Komfort 5th wheel and GMC 2500 HD) combo
which is giving me the NC message. The 5th wheel is in the hitch and
all lights including the brake light are working. I took it to Camping
World and they check out the controller and the connection on the truck
Dexter brake problem07 Sep 2006 06:58 GMT3
Need a clear parts break down for a Dexter 12X2 electric brake. Mine self
destructed and I need to see what it used to look like:) Don't know exactly
what weight it is but the magnet wires are white. Most likely I'll be better
off changing the entire brake assembly.
we need to write checks to Chris Bryant07 Sep 2006 06:10 GMT3
I have not been around this group much recently, much to your
benefit...but I see Chris Bryant left the group.
He's kinda the Steve Irwin of the rv folks for me......a real
hero....saved this group and those who know someone in this group....
PING! Bob Giddings re Souco07 Sep 2006 03:40 GMT2
Souco, who will turn 15 next week, had a second attack.
Fortunately the indications are that we aren't dealing with a stroke.
Instead we suspect

Newbie Camping - Part II (long)07 Sep 2006 01:57 GMT41
As soon as I could after work, I tootled off to the Yamaha dealer to
pick up my EF2400IS. My first reaction was... it's freaking huge! I
stepped up to it and noticed that at 70lbs at least I could pick it up
- I was doing a few reps with it when the salesman came over. He said,
Scary Tingling07 Sep 2006 00:32 GMT143
Hi Gang,
Just took the dogs for a long walk. When I got back I touched the
aluminum screen door and got a slight tingle, electric current. I let
go and touched it again and the same thing.
Cross posting.06 Sep 2006 20:44 GMT38
The cross posting has gotten so out of hand lately that my filter now
sports 243 screen names. It now takes longer than it ever has to
download the newsgroup, and I've decided that Netscape's filtering is
causing the slow down.
Installing MaxAir Vent Covers?06 Sep 2006 19:40 GMT28
Need to replace my deteriorated vent covers.  Is Eternabond tape the
best solution to seal the covers to the rubber roof?

Solar charging: Real World06 Sep 2006 03:54 GMT101
Ok, so I've done all my homework. I've read the book "RV Guide to Solar
Charging." I've been to all the sites I could find, and I'm wondering about
a few things.
Now I know that batt use is pretty much dictated by your own behavior. And,

Steve Irwin died.  The "Crocodile Hunter".
Quite a personality.  But as it happens, not "larger than life".

Buying My First Travel Trailer....Advice Please!05 Sep 2006 12:07 GMT4
I am looking to buy my first travel trailer (around 24 - 28').  I will
be using it for weekends with my wife and two small kids.  My tow
vehicle is a 2006 Dodge Ram 3/4 TON.  Here are some questions I have
that maybe some of you experienced owners can help me with:
Sunday drive....etc.05 Sep 2006 02:46 GMT4
Time came for our weekly Sunday drive and it was pouring rain but we
decided to go anyway.  Checking the radar I saw we could drive out of
the rain band only about 10 miles northeast so we picked up some
McSlurries at MacDonalds and headed out.

I heard someplace that they're a type of gravity heater.  Anybody know
what's inside the things?
