Full circle25 Sep 2006 03:09 GMT7
Well, not quite. We started our fulltime travels on Sept 27, 2004, I've been
saying the 28th, but checked our travel logs, and found out I was off a day.
Since the day we left the house for the last time, we've put 20,311 miles on
the motorhome, and about 40,000 give or take on ...
Change in travel plans...........25 Sep 2006 01:07 GMT4
After several days of crappy weather when I should have been up at the
lake fishing, I have caught a doozy of a cold.
2 days of sunshine are forecast before crappy weather returns so Esposa
has decided we would be happier further south in a warmer clime.
Ping Hunter re: Ocala CG24 Sep 2006 19:12 GMT10
We'll be coming through again in about a month. In the past we've stayed at
Ocala Ranch, but I seem to remember you recommending a different cg within
the past year. Is this correct, and if so, what was the campground?
Wifi antenna?24 Sep 2006 14:29 GMT4
A couple of months ago there was a long discussion about the best wifi USB
wireless adapter antenna that worked well in traveling.  The Hawking USB
Wireless G (HWU8DD) was mentioned and the HWU54D.  I have a Gateway laptop
with a Gateway wireless PMCIA card.  Will these USB ...
Ann Richards and Invasion of the Roofers24 Sep 2006 07:16 GMT11
She was a special Texan.  She'll be missed, even by us republicans.  I still
think since we won Iraq fair and square in a war, that Bush should appoint
Clayton Williams the governor of Iraq and make it the 51st state.  (Or Texas
annex Iraq)
Question about MH Frig24 Sep 2006 01:18 GMT5
I know that the MH frig works pretty
quietly, not like a home frig which has
a compressor, etc.  Periodically, the
frig in the MH starts making a whirring

Firestone Transforce HT 10 ply tire23 Sep 2006 21:44 GMT16
I've been looking for a quiet highway tire that will never leave
asphalt. I finally found another option for a 17" Load Range E tire for
my truck. Firestone now makes their Transforce HT in a 10 ply version.

Tip for GM truck owners: Heated mirror upgrade is very easy!23 Sep 2006 21:25 GMT7
I needed replacement mirror glass for my 2002 GMC Sierra, and was given
a whole new mirror unit (housing, motor, and glass) for my birthday.
The new unit was a heated power mirror. Existing unit was just power,
no heat.
New CB Frequencies or Modulation23 Sep 2006 20:33 GMT8
I haven't used a CB in a very long time.
I have a  27 year old Teabery  but didn't want to take the time to
install it in the new coach on the shakedown run.
I stopped at the Radio Shack to get a hand held unit.
Ping Hunter: Horse abuse?23 Sep 2006 19:15 GMT7
Hunter, I thought of you when I read this movie review:
http://movies2.nytimes.com/2006/09/22/movies/22slee.html?8dpc
Note the lead picture.  I wonder what drugs were necessary to get
that horse into the horse suit?  Amazing the things animals put

I 75 Resacca, Ga Fly J     2.27 diesel
According to Gas Buddy which seems to behind the curve some times.
Maybe it's cheaper somewhere else.
Getting away from People, living apart23 Sep 2006 04:20 GMT14
Can anyone please recommend some good places within a days drive or so from
Southern Arizona where I can boondock or camp that has a shower, grocery within
50 miles or so where I will be essentially alone and can cook meals on a small
propane stove.
'67 Travois update, propane regulator malfunction?23 Sep 2006 01:03 GMT7
Hey, guys.  I'm still working on updating that '67 Travois.
Everything is coming along nicely, if slowly.  The complete 12v and
120v electrical systems have been rewired, with the exception of the
running/signal lights.  Man what a rat's nest of wires somebody had
Propane detector went off last night22 Sep 2006 17:50 GMT14
Last night, actually 5:30AM, my propane
detector went off.  It stopped by itself
after a few minutes.  It also went off
again at 7:30AM.  This time the reset
