GPS Navigation Question05 Jan 2007 00:35 GMT12
Anyone have experience with GPS Navigation software made for Smartphones or
PDAs?
I am looking at TomTom, EMTECH, SA2007 and trying to find a solution for my
Treo 700p.  It's a Palm OS phone (hence the p at the end of 700).  I'll use
South Padre Isl. Tourist Trap.04 Jan 2007 21:53 GMT95
DOG an me made our maiden voyage to the island and was definitely
disappointed. Who ever manages the public works over there must stay
drunk during the summer and decides to tear up the streets during the
visitor season. At least the LRGV hiway commission listened to me in

How to defend your trailer against Jihadists???03 Jan 2007 23:07 GMT16
You know, it's always possible that you and your family are attacked
by jihadists. Gunmen, suicide bombers, all this typical raghead stuff.
So what can I do to fight against terrorists who attack my trailer?
How can I create an armored trailer? Where can I install weapons?
Are these tires safe?03 Jan 2007 22:58 GMT6
I have a Chevy Silverado 4x4 that I use to tow my 24 foot Komfort
trailer. The truck is a 2002 and still has the original tires. Tires
still have good tread, but today I noticed some sidewall cracking. All
4 tires exhibit this.
Diesel additives?  Was: Ford Diesel Worth it?03 Jan 2007 18:15 GMT19
The other day, as I was fillin' "the big dog", a guy at the pump behind me
came up and asked if I was using any "cold weather" additives?  I told him
no, I didn't think they were needed; and he proceeded to 'splain to me how
the new fuel had less "lubricity" and other such stuff. ...
Need campground info----suggestions03 Jan 2007 17:10 GMT71
We are planning this summer's trip.  One of the places we are going to
visit and do some sightseeing is the south eastern corner of Utah.
We want to see the goose necks, Mokee/Moki Dug way, and drive scenic
highways US-191 and SR 95.

Where did the RVer term 'Toad' come from?02 Jan 2007 20:10 GMT17
Just read Jim Corey's post and he closes listing his Lil
Corvair Coupe a 'toad'.  As a real 'car' guy, I just can't
get used to [more like stomach]the term.
My cars have always been 'girls'.  Damn nice ones too.  My
Best caulk for RV windows?02 Jan 2007 17:03 GMT7
I'm a new owner of an older RV -- it's an Empire 5th wheel manufactured in
1992. The seals around the windows, cargo doors, and fixtures is cracked and
there's some evidence of leaking in a one cargo door. I think I'm lucky
there's not more leaks.
Ping: Neon John re Engel Vendor02 Jan 2007 16:33 GMT8
John, I thought I had saved the post where you mentioned a recommended
vendor for the Engel fridges but it's vanished somehow.
Would you please share that information with me again?
Thank you and Happy New Year.
