Toilets22 Jan 2007 21:41 GMT22
The toilets in my new Mobile Home frequently do not work properly,
clogging up with
"solid matter" and not flushing without help from a plunger.  I think
the reasons are the small capacity (@1.6 gal per flush) and lack of
Anonymity22 Jan 2007 21:22 GMT72
As several have opined here recently, anonymous posters have no right
to expect their views to be respected.
However, bozos, morons and idjits using a real (or at least a
consistent) ID also get no respect.
We're Here!22 Jan 2007 18:51 GMT5
Well...not really, we're in Yuma. Tomorrow Quartzsite! It has  been an
interesting, and long, trip, dodging ice, snow, freezing rain etc. The
only ice that threatened our progress was at Alpine, TX, where we woke
up to an ice-coated world. We left during freezing rain but drove out
Roll call:  Who's at Quartzsite?22 Jan 2007 17:21 GMT22
All of those at "the Q" that would like to meet, now's your chance!  Drop me
a note here (or off-line if you wish--with work, the addy here is valid) and
let's see who's here & wants to get together...
I've got a loaf of fresh 'by-me' made sourdough bread a-bakin'...and will
Speaking of oil changes22 Jan 2007 16:21 GMT66
When you check the oil level in a small engine, after you unscrew the
dipstick and wipe it off, do you stick it into the hole as far as it will go
without screwing it in or do you screw it in ?
There is probably a 3/8" difference and I don't know which way is correct.

It occurs to me that NAPA is one of the places patronized by young
turks whose goal in life is to sink every incoming penny into their
hotrod de-jour.  RV parts places otoh tend to be patronized by aging
penny-pinchers (hand raised) who patronize AutoZone, Checker,
Question about satellite TV21 Jan 2007 22:57 GMT8
I live in Arkansas but want to want to get a satellite hookup for my
rv where I can get the Detroit local channels.  How can I do this?
The local satellite people say that they can not do this.  Why?  It
seems like a simple thing to do.
MH Kitchen Faucet21 Jan 2007 18:46 GMT18
Our new MH has a super cheap kitchen
sink faucet.  We would like one with
a pull-out spray.  I've looked at them
in the home center stores and at Camping

Transmission Discussion Retraction21 Jan 2007 06:11 GMT159
Hi Gang,
I was just driving Bruiser home from the feed store and it hit me....
I was having a brain fart last week when I said the Flagstaff service
manager told me not to tow up hills in cruise control.....
New website21 Jan 2007 02:37 GMT6
I just found about this today. I haven't spent a lot of time exploring, but
it looks promising for finding places if you travel a lot. Check it out if
you'd like.

Myrtle Beach Woes.21 Jan 2007 00:22 GMT3
This may be slightly OT, but I am traveling, just not in my RV.
I was truly hoping my wife would not remember that Myrtle Beach is the
second capitol of Outlet Malls.  Pigeon Forge is the first.  No such luck.
I, er uh, she ended up spending quite a lot money on stuff that we really
PING: Neon John20 Jan 2007 20:14 GMT1
Well I took a chance and checked out Grainger's on Lane Ave, here in
Jacksonville and even checked with a couple of truckers to see if they
might be you but no luck.  If it was the one on Lane you were not far
from where I live and I wanted to say howdy but I guess you took off
I just finished changing out our converter/charger20 Jan 2007 17:59 GMT12
Well, I just finished changing out our converter/charger.  The old one
was a Parallax 55 amp two-stage and its replacement is an 80 amp
Progressive Dynamics three stage with a built in Charge Wizard.
I'm going to build a box for the old Parallax and use it as a charger
