I have 5 wires (2 Blk, 2 Wht and 1 Grn)  running from a new 5500 LP
ONan generator.  According to the manual,  a vehicle with provisions to
connect to shore power must have an approved device to keep the genset
and utility from being interconnected. The five wires (12 ga)  are to be

Air Lift air bags on 98 Georgie Boy20 Jan 2007 04:34 GMT8
Hi, MH question, I just had one of my air bags rupture or leak, anyone
have any experience at replacing them?  If so I have a 98 Chevrolet
Georgie Boy and am curious as to the ease of replacing the air bag.  It
is the front one!  I have little talent ant anything mechanical but ...
Finally found some winter20 Jan 2007 02:03 GMT18
I finally did it.  I found some winter.  I'm on the I-80 tollway in
Indiana right now.  It's about 20 degrees out.  At my destination,
Cedar Rapids, the weather service is reporting -4 deg F.  Had a nice
little blizzard back in Elkhart, with about 3 inches falling in an
Dropping resistor19 Jan 2007 23:38 GMT51
Ok all you EE types.  This is NOT a hairdryer question.  I want to run
amplified computer speakers from my laptop so I can hear the GPS voice.  My
speakers are 9V DC, powered from a 110VAC power supply.  I want to use a 12V
source (ciggy adaptor).  What sort of dropping resistor ...
Heating costs, LP vs AC19 Jan 2007 21:33 GMT122
I am paying $0.19/Kwh for 120 VAC and $2.89/gal for LP.  My furnace is
a Suburban NT24S.  We're full timing in a 25 foot Class C.  I am
wondering if a high-efficiency electric space heater might be more cost
effective than the LP furnace.  Can anyone offer any insight on how to
Lost messages.19 Jan 2007 18:24 GMT14
This afternoon about 4:30, I downloaded all messages from 8:00 AM, until
then. Seconds later Netscape acted weird, and all messages between 10;00
AM and then went away. If you posted something you wanted me to see, and
it was posted between 10:00 AM today (Thursday) and 4:30, I ...
hairdryer question for you geenyuses19 Jan 2007 18:15 GMT60
All right you brilliant sods, here's a question for you since you know
all about it and I am dumber than a box of rocks.
You take your "average" hairdryer, let's say it's a 1500 watt dryer.
Has anybody taken one apart and measured how many watts are being used
Towing a trailer with a vintage car19 Jan 2007 18:13 GMT16
I'm not sure if this is the right newsgroup for my question but here
goes.
I drive a 1956 Cadillac Coupe de Ville as a daily driver. I don't even
own a "new" car (anything built after 1972). I am planning a 2 -3 month
Hey! Alan Robinson19 Jan 2007 03:55 GMT10
Alan,
I'm considering the crazy idea of changing the oil and filter in my
generator myself. It's an Onan Marquis 7.5KW. You've seen it but may not
remember it given that you look at more than a few generators in the course

Here in, or just outside of, Quartzsite19 Jan 2007 00:28 GMT10
We got in here about 4 hours ago. Jacks are down, Don from Maine is right
next door, and Lon next to him.
Hoping to see Dusty and Bruce over the next couple of days. I know Don B is
here, Jim and Barb, and who else.
Weather18 Jan 2007 23:23 GMT102
Saturday 1 PM.
It seemed like a good morning for menudo.  40 degrees, blowing
rain in Georgetown.  So I went down to the local Tex-Mex in the
rain and loaded up.  Ahhh.
