Yellowstone Trip31 Mar 2007 20:54 GMT57
Hi, all.  I've been lurking here for only a few weeks now - with nothing
positive to contribute yet.  I am, however, in need of some advice from you
"seasoned" travelers regarding the easiest and quickest (if not mutually
exclusive) route to Yellowstone from the Houston area.  I ...
Vector Smart Charger Warrany Info31 Mar 2007 17:39 GMT1
As many of you may already know Black & Decker took over Vector, or at least
their warranty repairs.  I took my Vector 1093A Smart Charger to the B&D
repair place and they sent me a new charger (the cooling fan failed and the
positive battery clip broke).  It says Black & Decker on ...

Maybe OT? Pet Meds31 Mar 2007 04:32 GMT44
The wife brought the new ankle biter home from the vet.  The vet

A garbage truck passed me today and had some bright green plastic plates on
each lugnut.  Was arrow shaped and looked like an nice way to see if a
lugnut came loose.  All the arrows pointed to the next lugnut.

What is the lightest-weight slide-in camper that will fit in a Ford Ranger
(1999 4WD)?
I need enough space for two people to sit at a table, and 6 feet of
headroom (6 feet 3 in is better but I'll live with having to duck my head
Magellan GPS30 Mar 2007 22:41 GMT18
FYI, we just bought a Magellan Roadmate 2000 GPS, not having
convenient room in the car for DeLorme's Earthmate and necessary
laptop.  First impressions: very favorable despite dinky screen.
Acquires birds faster, has good audible voice, and of course a cheap

Did you start out camping?  Backpacking? Or did you start your outdoor
lifestyle with an RV?
My first outdoor explorations were with a fishing pole, a canteen, and a
sleeping bag.

Q for owners of inverter style gensets29 Mar 2007 19:38 GMT25
Recently purchased a small Kipor genset and so far is working ok.  Have
noticed with little or no load the engine speed isn't consistent.  Took

stepper motor is also pulsing.  Don't think it should be ...
