My husband is retiring in a little over a year and we plan to do some
traveling on the Eastern Seaboard.  We've been looking at the small travel
trailers such as the Casita's.  Does anyone have any experience with these
17' and less TTs?  Any suggestions or information you'd care ...
More on the PullRite and Hensley Arrow Hitch07 Mar 2007 17:11 GMT87
Huge amounts of bafflegab have been written about the Hensley Arrow

Purported RV Accident Increase Newspaper Article07 Mar 2007 16:00 GMT1
In the Wednesday edition of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, an article discusses
the increase in RV-related accidents.  They don't source their data well
enough to be able to tell whether it is any good, but it does put RVers on
the public's agenda.
Completely OT, plumbing07 Mar 2007 15:44 GMT2
The commode in my shop had a small leak where the supply line connects to
the stop valve.
I tightened it.  At the same time I noticed that the valve outlet wasn't
quite upright so I put the wrench to it and made it.......upright.  Job well

HR Navigator -- Shock Absorbers -- Costs07 Mar 2007 10:47 GMT1
I'm trying to determine if I need new shocks on my 38ft Holiday
Rambler Navigator.  The vehicle is 14 years old, and has taken to
"porpoising" when I hit a good pothole on the Interstate.  So, I
suspect the answer is yes.
Quartzsite Questions07 Mar 2007 04:03 GMT1
We'll be leaving San Diego in a few days heading toward Arizona.  We're thinking
about stopping off in Quartzsite for a few days.  We drove through it a couple of years
ago in January, but didn't stop.  So now I have a couple of questions regarding Quartzsite...
1.  Has anyone ...
A bad day for a truck camper user07 Mar 2007 03:23 GMT6
I had to make a run up to my daughters college campus this morning and
on the way back I saw a poor sole that was having a very bad day along
side the highway. We were having 30 MPH winds with gusts over 40 and
this person was traveling what I beleive was a new Dakota CC with a
Re: Hitches -  was Dogs riding in trailers?07 Mar 2007 02:51 GMT14
I just looked at the Hensley site and they show the trailer side wider than
the truck side, which wouldn't work the way I figured.
Oh well.......................

For Cross-Country Travelers - Missouri Diesel Fuel06 Mar 2007 16:54 GMT3
We just made a run from Wichita, Kansas to SW Missouri.  When we left
Wichita diesel fuel had just climbed to $2.65 to $2.69/Gallon.  We saw it
several places in SW Missouri (Joplin south to Seligman Mo/Joplin north to
Lamar Mo.) in the $2.35 to 2.45 range.  Cheapest being ...
