RV Parks near Battle Creek MI?22 Mar 2007 06:38 GMT4
I will be working at the Silver Leaf renfaire just east of Battle Creek MI
for about 6 weeks starting in late June.  The faire has a camping area but
no provisions for hookups, so we're looking for a nearby RV park,
preferably with 50A/water/sewer hookups and a clear view of the SW ...

Electric space heater?21 Mar 2007 23:32 GMT98
Last year I had to replace my air conditioning unit.  The old one had
a heating element in it, but the new one is AC only.  I want to get a
1500 watt electric heater as backup in case the gas furnace fails.
I'll be using it in a 27 ft. class C.  Does anyone have a recommendation

now be used as a clothes dryer.

Who makes the smallest (shortest) motor home with a real bedroom
with a double bed as well as a cabover bed ?
The bedroom should have a lockable door so the parents can have
sex while the children sleep on the cabover bed and the dinette bed.
Spring Migration21 Mar 2007 20:43 GMT7
Spring is coming really soon so we are going to start our migration from the
Lower Rio Grande Valley.  We plan to stop early tomorrow at a wide spot on US 83
called San Ygnacio.  Only businesses are a post office and a cafe, not counting
the landing spot to drop off the inner ...

I have some speakers in the ceiling of the camper, which are for the
TV surround sound system.  Is it as simple as purchasing a surround
sound amplifier?    Can one be purchased without purchasing the
speakers?

I've researched my truck and can safely say I have a 10K Lb rating.  My
question(s) is/are:
What is the difference between towing a travel trailer versus a fifth wheel

Battery Questions21 Mar 2007 01:56 GMT54
Ok.  Now I could probably search google groups for the
answer to my questions, but I'm connecting to the internet
with my cell phone.  Not exactly the fastest of connections.
So I've got some questions regarding batteries.  My fifth

Hi Gang,
Just thought I'd close the story.
Jerry came over this morning and he's a pro!  First, the shopping list
he gave me was dead on accurate. When I make a list I always have to
Blew a Tire Yesterday20 Mar 2007 20:11 GMT8
Blew a tire on the fifth wheel yesterday near Eloy, AZ enroute from Casa
Grande to Tucson going about 64mph.  I think I caught it within 1/4 of it
actually happening.  It was the rear right tire.  Bummer.  Its the first flat
tire I've had going down the road in over 30 years.  Maybe ...
