Tow dolly: electric vs. surge20 Mar 2007 16:20 GMT4
I'm weighing the pros and cons of electric vs. surge for a tow dolly
application. I'm a full timer living in my 1999 Winnebago Adventurer
with a receiver hitch rated at 5,000 lbs. I want to buy a Master Tow
77-T but can't decide on electric or surge brakes. I'll be towing a

High Gas prices19 Mar 2007 17:17 GMT14
I had been thinking about buying a motorhome, but the gas prices in
Oregon have been shooting up and are close to $3.00 per gallon.  Has the
gas price raising put a damper on your motorhome travel/purchase, or is
it just me, thinking about maybe I should not buy one now.
Thanks Re:  Blowing Fuse19 Mar 2007 13:46 GMT2
Hi Ben, Hunter and Neon John
Thanks for your suggestions, will print it out and will give them
a try tomorrow.  As Neon Joh said it can be frustrating and I have
used quite a few of those 20 amp fuses just trying to find the

Newbee Question18 Mar 2007 19:35 GMT16
I'm heading across country this Spring (East to West). I'm not sure of
how many miles I will be traveling per day. Is it required to make
reservations at RV parks along the way ahead of time?
Thanks. Tom in PA

New GM 2007 P/U's18 Mar 2007 16:24 GMT15
I was out looking at new 3/4  ton 07 chevies today and I was not
impressed (and I am a GM truck man too as I have owned them for over
35 years and all but one where 4x4's too).  Basically it looks like
new sheet metal on same basic frame and they spot welded some partical
Yuma RV park recommendations18 Mar 2007 14:31 GMT19
Looking for recommendations for a good RV park in Yuma.  Unit is a 32' class
A with toad, no pets.  This would be for about a two month stay starting the
middle of  Sept 07.  In addition to normal hookups, will need cable TV and
WiFi (hopefully included in rate).
Pet Food Recall18 Mar 2007 04:56 GMT13
If you feed your pet canned food, check this CNN report:

International Rallys18 Mar 2007 01:33 GMT1
Can anyone suggest a rally or convention of class B or C motor homes
to attend in the US, such as Toyota, Volkswagon, Sportsmobile, so that
I can get a first hand look at different models and speak with owners
about the advantages and disadvantages.
Ownership17 Mar 2007 19:05 GMT13
You don't really own anything. Don't pay property taxes and they'll take
your home.
Don't pay personal tax and you can;t license
your car. Sell your home and pay a 20% tax.
Storage, Jacks, Suspension, and Tires16 Mar 2007 20:09 GMT4
Would there be any need to rest the rubber torsion suspension and trailer
tires  of a storage trailer over long periods of storing a heavy load by
putting it up on jack stands?
I don't want my tires to get out of round or the rubber torsion suspension
2005 Chevy 2500HD Steering linkage16 Mar 2007 18:57 GMT19
Friday morning we stopped into Southern Chevy in Foley, AL, because I've
been feeling a very slight metal to metal "clunk" somewhere in the left
front suspension of our truck. Seeing as it has 35,000 miles on it, we
decided to get it checked out before the bumper to bumper runs ...
