Looks like it's coming out early this year, with some needed improvements, including auto re-routing. The top of the line version appears to have an additional receiver that gives traffic updates and gas station locators without internet connection.

We are looking to get into a 5th wheel, skipping the TT progression. We currently have a 2001 2500 Dodge Short bed, so understand we would need to get into a sliding hitch, or upgrade to a truck that would not fit in our garage...DH would love that! Anyway, I stumbled across the ...

| Dahon folding bikes-anyone with experience? | 11 May 2007 03:33 GMT | 2 |
Anyone here have any personal experience in owning and riding a Dahon? I have the opportunity to pick up a couple used, but they really look short and unwieldy from looking at photos. Using a comparison of an old heavy side speed clunker of by gone days, how would one ride and

| Ford Speed sensor part number | 10 May 2007 23:14 GMT | 5 |
I have a 1991 Fleetwood Flair. It is on a Ford 1990 chassis. Not sure if this is classified as a F53 or E350 chassis. The rear anti-lock brake light comes on a lot. Suggestion was to replace the diff speed sensor. My dealer ordered part number E9TZ-9E731-A. I pulled the old ...

| Diesel prices & I-40 | 10 May 2007 16:57 GMT | 41 |
We took our 5er back to the dealer yesterday to get some warranty issues taken care. We were amazed at the variety of diesel prices along I-40 between Oklahoma City and Amarillo. Diesel was down to $2.589 on the west side of Oklahoma City and as low as $2.719 (cash) on the east ...

| Carry permit and the Canadian border | 10 May 2007 16:45 GMT | 116 |
I'm wondering if anyone who has has a carry permit has had a problem crossing into Canada. I've put off getting a permit assuming that it would show up at the border station and that they would figure I had a weapon somewhere in the rig and search the heck out of it. ANyone care

| Most MEMORABLE places I've camped | 10 May 2007 14:48 GMT | 9 |
I'm sure it's been done before, but how about a thread on "The MOST MEMORABLE Places I've Camped" ?? You'll have to write WHERE it was, and WHY it was so memorable. Maybe it was scenic, maybe it was just so much fun, and maybe it was a wild-and-crazy camping experience. If

| What's That $15 For? | 10 May 2007 08:49 GMT | 13 |
I was passing the big RV superstore south of Fort Worth yesterday and they had all the big rigs parked out front with price signs big enough to read from the highway. A Prevost out front had a sticker that read $1,013,15.

| Most efficient 12V converter that can run from an EU1000i? | 10 May 2007 02:33 GMT | 42 |
I have 500 Ah of 12V batteries that sometimes needs to be recharged from a Honda EU-1000i generator. Currently, this is being done by way of a Todd Engineering 40A converter (and sometimes a dumb 10A linear charger hooked in parallel) but I'd like to increase the charge

| Telluride, Colorado | 10 May 2007 00:37 GMT | 4 |
We hope to stop off in Telluride for a few hours next week while pulling the 34 foot fifth wheel from Montrose to Cortez. It's been 13 years since I've been to Telluride. Can anyone tell me if there is parking space for our rig there or at least a place to drop off the trailer? ...

| Extra Battery Vs: Solar Charger | 09 May 2007 21:21 GMT | 46 |
We do weekend "dry camping" while participating in dog herding trials. My 27ft class C MH is equipped with only one "house" battery. Although it is a deep cycle Interstate group 27 Marine/RV battery, it won't last one day and over night, much less than that, if we have to run the ...
