From Lynchburg, VA, we are thinking of taking US 29 to US 15, and then
pick up I-81 at Harrisburg, PA and 209 through Delaware Gap NRA.
Are there any serious problems with this plan?

Budgeting04 May 2007 16:59 GMT12
Recently I ran across http://rv-dreams.com (no affiliation). Several
of the pages discussed budgeting and suggested a three thousand dollar
(USD) per month budget. If I did the numbers right a person must gross
fourty-four thousand dollars per year to be able to net thirty-six
Such Thing As 30" Wide RV Range/Oven?04 May 2007 16:53 GMT17
I live off-grid and I'm looking for a full size, 30" wide range that does
not need electricity to operate.  I'm very familiar with the smaller RV
ovens and one would be ideal if I could only find one that's regular, house
size.  I like the RV feature of having the "Off" position for ...
Washn and Waxn04 May 2007 15:54 GMT5
OK here is a question for those who have roofs that have to be washed
often what do you use to preclude stripping the wax on the sides of the
coach?  Just curious.  Seems it would be tough especially on those who
use wax or is it the same for the stuff Bob uses/sells?
DEFINITION OF A TROLL (An Insightful Analysis)04 May 2007 05:45 GMT11
***Many times, we see members of certain backward groups utilizing the
term "troll" when describing a certain poster to the group.  This
treatise will define exactly what this misguided and inaccurate
designation truly is and why it seems to be so popular among the
Ouray to Durango in a 5th Wheel04 May 2007 03:06 GMT45
In a couple of weeks we'll be heading south from Montrose, CO to the SW corner
of Colorado.  I drove this route 13 years ago and if I recall correctly it was a bit
steep with some hairpin curves.   Just this past January we were going to take
this route the other direction in our ...

On the road...........03 May 2007 18:46 GMT10
Left Ute Lake this morning under fair skies and light winds.
Planned to stop at Meade Lake State Park but some ambitious farmer has
opened an RV park 5 miles northeast of Liberal, KS.
Western Star RV Ranch.  $15 for water and electric.  $5 more for a sewer
Ref: Washn and Waxn03 May 2007 17:07 GMT1
Hey thanks Lon, Bob and Albert for your replies.  My biggest concern is
that the soap used on the roof to clean it would strip all the wax or
the DriWash off and you would have to start from scratch! Those rubber
roofs don't clean easy.  Soap will remove wax so that was my worry ...
5th Wheel & Generator03 May 2007 16:19 GMT64
Do most 5th wheel owners carry an auxiliary generator along on their
travels?
If so, where is it stored when not in use?
Which type/model is the most popular?
Geochaching, how many do it?03 May 2007 15:40 GMT9
My wife and I went camping in a local Ohio State Park (Mohican) with 3
other RV's ( annual shakedown cruise). Before we left I downloaded
some geocaches in that area. We got on our motorcycles and went
looking for them. We came across a Castle/Inn/Restaurant that was
Oceanfront campground in Maine?03 May 2007 02:37 GMT6
We had been looking forward to going to Libby's (for the first time)
in York, but found out that no oceanfront sites are available in
July.  We have no interest in parking in a site that looks at another
trailer....We usually go to Boothbay Harbor, but would be open to
The Ford Soldier Commercial03 May 2007 02:29 GMT43
OT? I don't think so. Ford builds trucks and Chassis
for RVs. Right?
Some may think this Ford Commercial is political.
IT IS NOT.
Stainless Steel Cleaner02 May 2007 22:07 GMT18
I am in need of a recommendation of a good stainless steel cleaner.  The
stainless steel stove top and cover in are motorhome are a bit of a mess and
I would like to give it a good cleaning.
Thanks
