Ping Janet - Fuel Consumption for Freightliner MDT11 Jun 2007 22:25 GMT12
I'm looking seriously at a Freightliner FL70 with a Cat 300 to replace
my Chevy.  I know you had a FL60 but I expect the fuel consumption would
be close.  What was your experience with pulling your RV?
THANKS !
Change of Address11 Jun 2007 16:21 GMT2
I want to change the address to which digest messages from this group
are sent, to <dc1999@cox.net>.  In googlegroups Edit Subscriptions
there appears to be no way to do so short of unsubscribing.
Do I need the moderator's approval for this?  If so, I'd appreciate
Stork Parking at Wal-Mart (latest rant)11 Jun 2007 06:26 GMT173
You people know how I feel about handicap parking. But now I noticed a
couple signs in front of a Wal-Mart in Delaware Ohio this past weekend
for "STORK" parking. It read that these spaces were reserved for
expectant mothers and new mothers. Didn't these mothers "choose" to be

pie, or ??.
Send an email to bobhatch at bobhatch dot com, and I'll send you my cell

Airstream/Autocar10 Jun 2007 22:41 GMT1
The American Truck Historical Society has a show in Colorado Springs this
weekend.  Went by to see some of the early arrivals this afternoon.  Saw one
of the larger Airstreams coupled with sufficient truck to pull it, a
full-size Autocar tractor of barely antique status.

I've looked in the archives and there has been some discussion on this
topic but I'm wondering if anybody has real world experience with
putting a WiFi repeater in their rig?

Denver Area RV Parks10 Jun 2007 17:41 GMT4
Looking for a recommendation for an RV park in the Denver area.  I briefly looked at
rvparkreviews.com and someone commented that the selection there was quite poor.
This would be for 4 or 5 nights starting next Thursday.  I'm aware of Cherry Creek
State Park in Aurora.

I just wanted to say thank you for all the help you have been while we have
been educating ourselves about what camper to choose.
Yesterday we purchased a 2000 Keystone Cougar 28BHS 5th wheel unit.  We will
pick it up next weekend.  The seller is throwing in so much stuff that we

Well, CNN has gone and done it.
I caught part of a CNN special "debate" on "faith" with
Edwards, Clinton and Obama.
Seemed like an opening for the demo candidates to stake out their claim to
RV Towing with a tow dolly09 Jun 2007 23:18 GMT1
Hey all this is my first post and I have a question on RV towing using
a tow dolly.  We have a 2003 WindSport Class A Motorcoach and I just
want to make sure I'm towing with my dolly right.  We had a Sebring we
towed behind it on a Master Tow tow dolly with the swivel base.
