heard some arguing about Spartan vs Freightliner12 Jul 2007 22:02 GMT1
...one owner was on his third Newmar pusher  and he had a disdain for

Trailer Tongue Jack Stands12 Jul 2007 21:40 GMT5
I'm going camping again starting tomorrow for a few days and I'm
looking for a way to cut down on the amount of 'levelling' lumber I
carry around in my trailer.
I did a search on 'trailer tongue jack pads' and came up with these

what kinda wrench for water heater12 Jul 2007 19:23 GMT3
... I need to replace the "pop-off" valve in my 2001 wtr heater.
That limited space  makes me wonder what the pros use?
Maybe I should use a big adjustable and shaft parallel and twist it
with another wrench? NO!

The next to the last photo shows something interesting.  Observe both the old EU
engine and the new GC.  They're practically identical.  The GC is Honda's cheap

RV Warranty Policies12 Jul 2007 00:16 GMT4
A nephew bought a late 90's Motorhome a few months ago and they purchased a
warranty policy from the dealer.  He recently gave the machine to a OK City
shop for installation of a Banks exhaust system.  During teardown the shop
found the lug around an exhaust port bolt broken and ...
John G's BBQ Reloaded11 Jul 2007 22:00 GMT16
John G's BBQ Restaurant Rev 2.0 took off with a blast this weekend. (yeah, bad pun).
The new right-sized walk-up restaurant is a smaller, personal affair with window
service and covered outdoor seating on the bank of the Tellico River.  It's located
at the Green Cove Motel, general ...
Beautiful White Mountains11 Jul 2007 19:59 GMT3
Our neighbors recently invited us to dry camp with them near Big Lake in
the White Mountains of Arizona. They have camped up there for years and
in different seasons. Our spot was in the pine forest about 18 miles
from Big Lake, 12 miles from potable water etc. We fished the West ...
AC and genset question for small trailer11 Jul 2007 19:00 GMT6
A friend on one of my horse lists has a very small "dressing area /
living quarters area" in her horse trailer, and asks:
>I have a horse-trailer -- an alum gooseneck with a 6'6"x6'6" dressing
>room floor, 7'6" high, plus the gooseneck space that I'm trying to

Looking at a Damon 1998 Challenger with the Ford 46011 Jul 2007 17:36 GMT3
Anyone have experience with these in particular?  Have heard rumors of
them being overweight but have not been able to confirm that with
anyone (either Ford RV or Damon RV).
It seems the chassis is rated with a GVW of 17000lbs.  Has anyone
Help!  MH propane fuel gage11 Jul 2007 13:02 GMT12
Trying to keep a long story short, while working on the mech fuel gage
on the propane tank I mistakenly removed 2 of the 4 screws that hold the
fuel gage assy to the tank.  Not sure if all tanks/gages are alike, this
is an 89 winnie.
poopy question11 Jul 2007 12:44 GMT7
So, we finally got to take the 5th wheel out for a trial weekend.
Everything went real well except that the black water tank indicator is
saying that the tank is full, despite my being able to look into it and see
that it is not.  So,  I am guessing there is some kind of "float ...
