| GPS = good | 26 Jul 2007 22:53 GMT | 1 |
We bought a nice portable Garmin 360 nuvi GPS for our vehicles last year. We used it to travel from Sacramento, CA to Colorado Springs, CO and back. Even at the ripe old age of 62 I was able to make that thing work. Any time we wanted to eat or find a motel it was right on for us.

We're about 15 miles south of Twin Falls, ID, at Nat-Soo-Pah Hot Springs. There are fires in almost every direction, and the smoke is thick. Ash is falling and starting to cover the tops of the rigs, awnings, and if you stay out too long, it gets on your clothes. Big fires, and ...

All loaded and check list complete for Oshkosh when a member of the expedition suggested apples rather than Coke/Pepsi for an aid while driving. Has anyone else heard of this. I love apples and would prefer them to the rust remover I usually use.
