Cheater cord23 Jul 2007 00:09 GMT5
Because it's been so hot, and the RV park we're in has 30 amp service only,

park owner how much he would charge if I plugged into 2, 30 amp receptacles,
and he said, "Go ahead and do it, no charge".

Anyone traveling through Atlanta this summer wanting to visit this
"attraction" might consider saving a lot of money and not going.

conversation turned to winterizing.  He said he and his wife hated the
after-
taste of RV antifreeze.  For the last two seasons he has used vodka instead.
Kill-A-Watt meter with modified sine wave inverters22 Jul 2007 05:57 GMT2
I read that a Kill-A-Watt meter will work with a modified sine way inverter,
but that the reading could be off by 5 to 15%.  Does anyone know if the
meter will indicate too many or too few watt/hours and if the type of load
affects the meters error, with an modified sine wave ...

RV slide out awnings21 Jul 2007 13:34 GMT22
Had a wonderful, but leaky weekend.  Can anyone recommend good slide out
awnings?  I have seen some comments that they don't do well in sun after
