Lining up the trailer16 Jul 2007 23:14 GMT12
See adds all the time about mirrors and flags to help line up the hitch so
you don't have to keep getting out and going back to look. What works best?
I'm interested in a system that would work on many different trailers, so
something not permanently mounted.

Inverted ball hitch?16 Jul 2007 17:41 GMT4
Was reading an old copy of Trailer Life, 2005 I think. In it was a test of a
Dodge, Toyota, Ford and GMC pickup and four trailers. In the article they
mentioned changing to an inverted ball hitch because the back of the truck
went down too far. They were putting the heaviest trailer ...

We're avid visitors to Darien Lake theme park in upstate NY - we
usually go for about 4 to 6 days and camp on site.
That said, this year with the sale of the park from Six Flags this
past spring to another company, the new company seems to have lost

Value of older Reese hitch?16 Jul 2007 01:40 GMT1
I've got an older (non height adjustable) Reese hitch that I've not
used in probably a decade.
I've been keeping it around based on the "perhaps someday I might need
it" premise, but now that need a new brake controller I'm thinking

How to hook up a frequency meter for a generator.15 Jul 2007 15:57 GMT3
I've got a generator, and I need to set the frequency, so I bought a
cheap frequency meter on ebay.  It's a Wacline N20394A analog panel
meter apparently off an old Kurz & Root generator.  It measures 55-65
Hz.  It has two terminals on the back, one is marked with a + sign,

We met at a nice restaurant, and after eating, they took us for a drive
around the area.
We have met a bunch of people from the group, & they rate with the best of

from Northern Tool.  My intended use is to charge the batteries on our
trailer when we boondock for periods longer than a weekend.  We have a pair
of group 27 batteries that do a good job for us for the ...
