Start the generator when the rig gets too warm28 Aug 2007 02:57 GMT3
A friend of mine suggested a cheap and easy way to modify the standard
Xantrex RC7 GS remote to cause the generator to run whenever the
temperature reaches a selected point in a motor home. I thought some pet
owners out there might be interested.
San Francisco - Labor Day Weekend27 Aug 2007 23:53 GMT19
For those of you planning on traveling over the SF Bay Bridge on Labor Day
weekend this year, you should think of an alternate route or plan.  The
bridge will be CLOSED!
They plan on replacing a 350' section of roadbed that weekend.  It is an
Lake Tahoe RV park recommendation wanted27 Aug 2007 20:53 GMT1
We're headed to Lake Tahoe in a couple of weeks.  Looking for a recommendation
of an RV park.  We have a 34 foot 5th wheel.  Twenty years ago I stayed at
Tahoe Valley in a Class B.  I seem to remember lots of twisty roads with close in
trees.  I also stayed at a S Lake Tahoe city ...
Squirrel Season27 Aug 2007 20:31 GMT6
Just a note to those who like to squirrel hunt.  TN's squirrel season opens Saturday.
It's unique this year in that the first day is free - no license or permits required,
residents or non-residents.  Just come and blast all you like (bag limit is 10 but
nothing says you can't dig a ...

fine.

hours run time on it.

San Diego Non-Smoking Ordinances.....27 Aug 2007 03:03 GMT433
I'm going to be in San Diego in mid September for my Son's wedding.
Haven't been back there since leaving 4 1/2 years ago and I know a
whole- hell-of-a-lot of new non-smoking ordinances have been passed.
It is probably wiser to ask "where can you smoke a cigar"... instead of
Business meeting.....Rated26 Aug 2007 23:16 GMT2
This is how a business meeting would go if it was conducted as a newsgroup
on Usenet.
Beware of bad language.

Finally Found the RV for Me26 Aug 2007 22:25 GMT176
Yesterday, I took a deep breath and with both eyes firmly squeezed
shut, I purchased an RV that's 600 miles away from me which I've seen
only in photos. :-)
A major thank you to Frank Tabor for the hours of help he's given me
ST vs LT Tires26 Aug 2007 20:44 GMT139
I am getting ready to new tires on my 5th wheel.  Currently, it has ST
tires.  I have been considering LT tires of the same size, load range,
etc.
I have heard (true?) that the basic difference is the ST tires are far
Bush's "Killing Fields" and the Real Lesson of Vietnam26 Aug 2007 20:30 GMT3
Bush's "Killing Fields" and the Real Lesson of Vietnam
George Bush's invocation of the "killing fields" in Cambodia to try to
bolster his failing argument for an indefinite continuation of the Iraq
occupation was a reference to the extreme right's decades-old rant that
Tourist traps26 Aug 2007 18:54 GMT96
Just out of curiosity, what is your favorite tourist trap? Yeah, I
know. Nobody likes tourist traps, right? Well somebody must like them.
The places are packed. I just read that the Corn Palace in Mitchell,
South Dakota gets 500,000 visitors a year. I wonder how many people
Florida State Parks Entrance Fees26 Aug 2007 18:52 GMT26
Am I correct in assuming that the $4 (or $5) entrance fee is collected
each separate day I reenter the park during my 2 week camping visit?
