Opinions on shielding tires23 Aug 2007 23:52 GMT27
Am curious to know whether there's any citable evidence to indicate
that motorhome tires are adversely affected by sunshine during short
term winter camping in Florida.  Have noticed a small percentage of
RVers cover their tires while parked.
Bob's bear23 Aug 2007 23:47 GMT9
The bear Bob mentioned several days ago that was causing problems in the
Fishing Bridge area has been captured and removed from Yellowstone NP.  The

on numerous occasions, but kept returning to the FB area ...

First, let me say I'm not saying there is no global warming. There may be,
and most possibly is.
I've been wondering about this. When the Goreists start howling about global
warming, all I hear is doom and gloom, and maybe that's all there is, or at

Toilet doesn't completely empty22 Aug 2007 00:42 GMT14
The last couple of times camping we have noticed when we are draining
the black water it is not completely emptying.  We can still see
"black water" in the toilet.  I have heard of the tanked being air

Trip Advisor type site for campgrounds?21 Aug 2007 23:56 GMT2
I was wondering if there is such an internet site?  I've used Trip Advisor
for years to get the low down on hotels and resorts from regular people
before making reservations, and that has worked great.  Does anyone know of
a place that does the same thing for campgrounds?

Will be staying in San Antonio for a week in late September for a wedding in
Helotes, TX.
Anyone have recommendations for a nice park in the area. Will be dividing
time between the Riverwalk area and the west side near Six Flags.
