The 64 Bit Question26 Sep 2007 23:55 GMT22
I spent yesterday downloading drivers and transferring files and
programs and just playing with my new HP dv 9420us laptop.  I'd
heard all the stories about what a nightmare it was supposed to
be, and I must say it has been relatively painless.
Reference crossing chains on Tow26 Sep 2007 20:39 GMT11
I did have an experience with a Tow Bar arm coming loose.  I have
locks holding my tow bar and the way I have it keeps anyone from
stealing the tow bar or the car (hopefully) unless they have a cutter
with them.  As I left the house one tow bar did not come out fully

Should I consider thee worthy of repair? Or are these type bubbles typical?

Putting RV in mothballs26 Sep 2007 17:59 GMT25
My Winnebago owners manual says nothing about scattering moth balls
around the storage compartments to prevent or at least deter critters
from invading the RV while in winter storage.  Yet, several people
we've met have recommended this to us.
Ref Verizon26 Sep 2007 05:01 GMT2
Yesterday I had a call from Verizon asking if I wanted to renew my
contract with them, seems my 2 year contract with them has run out and
they wanted to give me 2K hours for free!  Plus a phone.  Shows they
do not check records before calling people.  Hell I have trouble using

A question for you other 5th wheel RVers...
When you remove the hitch from the bed of the pickup truck and
you need a reasonably flat surface in the bed do you:

Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta26 Sep 2007 01:48 GMT2
I've received great info on internet on the road. Now, I'd like
to ask about the activity we'll be gong on the road to see.
Are any of you going to the Balloon festival as part of the
Escapees HOP?

Using RV in winter time in the Pacific NW25 Sep 2007 23:45 GMT12
I want to use my RV starting earlier next year than in past years.  I would
like to start in March or at least April.  Now as many know who live up in
this neck of the woods, that poses some challenges.
First it rains here from October to July, with short breaks of sun.  So
Insurance cost on 5th wheel25 Sep 2007 20:22 GMT13
What  is the best insurance co. to just insure my 5th wheel??    State Farm
is at about 850.00 a year.
This seems excessive but I have nothing to really compare it to. Is this
inline or should I start looking for other coverage.
Bear claws25 Sep 2007 14:14 GMT5
OK, so they're not the kind you get at the local doughnut shop. :-)
Couldn't resist putting this image up on the web site. Take a look at the
size of the claws on this guy. It's the same bear, different view.

Bear Bear25 Sep 2007 13:38 GMT10
Finally a grizzly bear. We've been here since July 24th, and we've seen 2
black bears. One from pretty close up, and one down in the Hayden Valley on
a hillside across the Yellowstone River.
Today we took a drive over Sylvan Pass, and out the East Gate of the park.
Ford Cruise Control Recall Experience25 Sep 2007 04:02 GMT19
99 Holiday Rambler on Ford Chassis.  I took the MH to Ford dealer this
morning.  Said they did not have the part to implement the fix.  Said
not even Ford has the parts.  Said they don't know when they might get
them.  The switch in question is mounted directly onto the master
How has staying overnight at FLying J. or Walmart worked out for    you ?25 Sep 2007 01:13 GMT50
I recently bought a nearly new 25' class c. RV and have stayed at a
Campground or two.  I was contemplating doing a dry-run by staying at a
local Super Walmart or Flying J.  just for the experience ... before i
go away for the winter down south and possibly make a routine of staying
