Airong up tires24 Sep 2007 22:38 GMT3
Had the mh serviced. Asked them to check the tires too.
They charged an additional 38.00 to check the tires and air up one or
two or maybe none of them.
Is it usual to charge so much?

Your Gringo Fence Cannot Stop Us!  Forget It!24 Sep 2007 07:57 GMT8
Yes, es verdad!  The money your gringo government is spending on that
tonto fence is a waste since that dinero could be better used to pay
us higher wages when we cross the border to work for your labor

Wireless (cellular) internet services for RVing and photo uploads24 Sep 2007 05:17 GMT32
My sister uses a Verizon card in her laptop while she rides on
CalTrain between San Jose and San Francisco but she doesn't go into
rural areas, or transfer large files.  A friend just got a Sprint card
on a free trial (free until the end of the year) but I don't know the

How far north and how late in the fall would you feel safe going north
up the west coast of US/Canada in a 3-seasons RV, a Sprinter ClassB

Replacing air bags23 Sep 2007 15:29 GMT10
I just replaced the 2 front air bags on my 1986 Georgie Boy.
The way the brochure shows to do it is to twist the new bag to make it small
enough to go through the hole in the bottom "A" frame.
I know Supermen could do it and possibly Nanook of the North, but the was no

Thanks again to those who responded to the first thread.
I think I've decided on the vehicle:  some sort of van.
The pickup truck/cap sounds attractive for somebody less tall
(I'm 6'5"), but I want at least a couple of jump seats behind the

Routing preferences to Grand Teton23 Sep 2007 00:54 GMT1
Driving directly from South Bend, IN to Grand Teton, I can see no
particular advantage for choosing either the southern route (I-80) vs.
the northern route (I-90) since all interim sightseeing will occur on
the way back.
four season rv22 Sep 2007 21:54 GMT58
I curious to know which RVs, mainly the towed type, are considered rated for
all four seasons?  I have found that the Arctic Fox brand is but not sure
about its cousin the Nash.  I think also that New Horizon is also.  What
other brands make this claim?  I believe that the Arctic ...
Will Hydrogen be the fuel of the future?22 Sep 2007 19:54 GMT55
Hydrogen as a vehicle fuel has a lot of obstacles to overcome.
Hydrogen as a power source in your home and RV may be a reality that
is closer. Here is a link to  video of a company (NanoLogix - - -
NNLX) that is using different types of bacteria to produce Hydrogen.
