Awhile ago the economy models like my Sunline were made with wood framing
and high end RV's were framed in welded aluminum as it was lighter, stronger

A gust caught my awning this past weekend and ripped it at the base of
where it connects to the RV, about two foot long rip, clean and straight
along that connection against the RV. This is a coachmen ST295TH Ramp 'n
