Thanks, update & question22 Jan 2008 21:24 GMT58
We just returned from our first RV outing and are thoroughly hooked!
You guys were a big help with advice before we left, and I just wanted
to thank everyone for their input and advice - it was all very
helpful.  We did practice backing the RV before we hit the road, and
Ping: Frank Howel regarding BluRay players.22 Jan 2008 16:37 GMT5
Frank,
I know you were considering a Bluray player. Fry's in Renton has the PS3
40 gig for 399 on sale this week. Great deal and you can also use it for
internet wirelessly to a wireless router.
Quality MH without slideouts22 Jan 2008 15:40 GMT12
We just went to an RV show here in CT. We have a 2003
Triple-E Commander A2901 (which we bought new) with about 56k miles on it.
It was their top but smallest gasoline Class A at the time. It's 29ft
without any slide outs. It's pretty loaded with nice ...
Waffle House revisited22 Jan 2008 14:59 GMT3
We finally, after all these months, got around to visiting the local
Waffle House while we are here at the Tampa RV Super Show. 3 of us had
the All Star breakfast, and Carolyn had an omelet.
The place was very clean, compared to what we expected after the thread
Gettin' Down to the Cuttin'22 Jan 2008 10:07 GMT110
This afternoon I went to look at the 2001 Minnie Winnie again.
Did a thorough critical walk-around.  Here's what I found:
1.  The front right tire is an 03, so it's not original, as he
had insisted.  However it dates from before he bought the thing.
Temperature21 Jan 2008 22:27 GMT8
It's only 41º here in Belleview and suppose to go to 38º tonight, but it's
that better than the 14º it was when we left Rochester, NY this afternoon.
(we flew up for a wedding)
I Love My Truck21 Jan 2008 16:57 GMT2
My New Truck
I bought a newer Ford F-250 crew cab and returned to
the dealer the next day because I couldn't get the
radio to work. The salesman explained that the
Lightning While Hooked Up to Campground Power21 Jan 2008 16:29 GMT3
While I know politics is important, I'd suggest a diversion into a
treatise on lightning.  Any geek in an RV hooked up to some dubious and
oddly wired campground power supply must eye an approaching thunderstorm
with trepidation.
Was:Re: Buy Streets & Trips 2008 for $39.95 and get free USB GPS receiver21 Jan 2008 14:35 GMT6
For those who might be interested.
When I first got into the GPS business I bought from Deluo
Electronics.  The name of it was Routis and almost immediately they
discontinued it.  It was version 2004 with no chance of updating it.

Bike On Fifth wheel21 Jan 2008 02:42 GMT89
I'm curious how one would transport an 8 foot, 700 pound motorcycle if one
were camping in a fifth wheel. I'm assuming it would most likely be a
carrier on the back but are the frames really built strong enough to support
one on most fifth wheels and how much would that adversely ...
Wifi providers.....21 Jan 2008 02:33 GMT2

This might be something you want to tell your city administrator about.
Or RV parks you stop at that could be providing wifi at no cost to the
park and even some possible revenue from it.
Spamming on the night shift.....20 Jan 2008 20:02 GMT3
I suspect the posts made at 5.00---5:04----5:20 were all made by the
Landfill Troll.  He's bored on the night shift.
His latest posting alias is Chuck Wilson.  You may want to filter
everything from Google Groups until he goes away or changes his habits.
Great Tips For Car Camping Enjoyment20 Jan 2008 13:48 GMT1
Camping is one of my favorite activities and my favorite type of
camping is car camping. However, there are many other types of camping
such as base camping, canoe camping, RV camping, tent trailer camping
and back yard camping. Regardless of how you spend your time out of
