Well dear friends, after all these years of hanging out here, we
finally joined (just barely) the ranks of RV owners. Today, we
purchased a 1998 Casita 17' Spirit. We found it in Burnet, Texas and
will return there on Tuesday to tow it home. Now we have to figure out

We -dutchies in our early 60's- plan to make a 3 month trip in 2009
with our Rig to Alaska , starting in Houston.
We are looking for couples that like to do the same. We prefer some
kind of convoy for saftety reasons.

I went to WalMart today. Gas was 3.12 when I walked in. 10 minutes
later when I walked out, it was 3.07. It's gotten so hard to keep up.

My wife and I are considering the purchase of a 1996 Dodge Class B
(Similar to Roadtrek). It has a 318 ci motor with about 98,000 miles.
We have been camping out of our Ford Ranger w/cap(tent camping). We
plan on selling the Ranger and using the motorhome as my daily driver.

sharing. I wish I had known about this when I had the 4x4 P-Tiger. I've just
finished making the modification to "Arby", our new Lazy Daze 26.5 RB class
