Food Preparation in the RV16 May 2008 22:43 GMT46
Actually the secret to preparing food in the RV is not to do it. That is

slow electric cooker that can be used inside.
XP Service Pack 3?16 May 2008 20:51 GMT76
My computer is trying to get me to download SP3 (I have XP Media Center
edition).
Any advice, pro or con, as to whether I need this? I tend not to want to
change things that don't need changing. (All previous updates are up to
RV Travel this Summer16 May 2008 13:37 GMT11

and ALMOST FULL.
Nothing special about the park although it is clean and spacious.

Anyone using the Garmin Street Pilot 7200?
It's suppose to be geared towards truckers & RVers and the street
price is now under $475 on this $1000+ retail unit. Even at that, I
don't want to make a mistake!!

Anyone out there towing with one of the new 2008 F250's and the new 6.4
diesel engine ?  We purchased one last year and pull a 5th wheel with it.
We've only got a little over 8K miles on her at present.  Love the truck,

Boats and RVs - Use 'em if you've got 'em15 May 2008 14:51 GMT15
An interesting article on the divide between the haves and the
have-nots.  Sales are down, but use is not.  The price of gas is
small compared to sunk costs, but if you haven't bought, it's an
impediment.  That's my problem when considering spending another

Should I replace the serpentine belt on my 2000 Ford E-350 - V10 engine?
It's looks okay, but it's going on nine years old.
There are 36k miles on the RV.
I don't to break down on the road, but I also don't want to spend money on

Speaking of prowling the net and blonde bimbos, something quite appropos
Slowing Down, not Stopping ...15 May 2008 00:51 GMT56
We have placed a bid on a place here in Tennessee ... the deal is
approved, we have the inspection Tuesday and closing in June, projected for
the 9th.   The house (well ... it's a trailer, get over it!) is bigger than
we were looking for, but it met every one of the priorities we ...

Snow pack is melting at a more accelerated rate now that the daytime temps
are about the same as the inside of a refrigerator. :-) According to NOAA
we'll get up to the high 50's, low 60's starting on Friday, and the night
time temps will be clear up to about 34 degrees. It's ...
