A battery bank of 6v and 12v together ?30 Jun 2008 21:04 GMT5
It may be a stupid question but please bear with me.
I have 2 Trojan 105 6v and no more room in the battery compartment.
Can I connect one 12v parallel to the two 6v?
I charge them with a 2.5 kw inverter/charger, can the charger be "confused"
Niagra Falls info needed30 Jun 2008 20:51 GMT78
I am thinking of going to Niagra Falls in a few weeks. Anybody got any
info on the campgrounds? I have my passport so either side is good for
me. I would like to have full hook-ups if possible.
TIA

Return of the Prodigal Hamster30 Jun 2008 17:57 GMT194
I'm back at work...
Had a great few days camping. Coined some new words... drank some
great beer (Black Oak Nut Brown Ale and Sleeman's Fine Porter)...
Camper toilet-trained little Max... ate some terrific BBQ food...
Blue Highways30 Jun 2008 17:35 GMT30
I have been doing about an hour a day on the NYS Thruway most of the
week and noticed a steady small stream of campers.  On the way back I
have been running rt 96 roughly parallel and seeing almost as many.  I
know I find the byways more fun when tripping and wonder if it is
Heading To The Beach30 Jun 2008 07:17 GMT3
Don't know how people are feeling the heat in other parts of the
country but Oregon has been having a bit of heat wave, even hitting
close to 100 in Beaverton (by Portland) where some friends of ours
live and pushing 90 degrees here in Eugene.  So, what's the only
Newbie with lots of questions....30 Jun 2008 03:05 GMT98
I am so new that I don't even *own* a camper or trailer or RV of any kind.
All my camping has been done from a motorcycle.
However, my wife and I are getting a little older. The idea of traveling
across country on a motorcycle and camping as we go no longer has the
Ping Bob Hatch30 Jun 2008 02:03 GMT10
Bob, we haven't gotten a Yellowstone report is several days and need
that fix.  What is going on?  Is snow still on the ground?  What about
the bears?  Are the animals starting to get meat on their bones?

I waxed my RV at dusk and got some wax on the plastic coarse parts here and
there.  What is the best way to remove it?
YNP Wildlife29 Jun 2008 22:36 GMT9
It is a good time to see wildlife at Yellowstone National Park and vicinity.
Yesterday, we saw a herd of 50-60 elk, 5 bighorn sheep and a number of deer.
That was between the RV park and YNP.  Once in YNP we saw a black bear, two
grizzlies, 7-9 different wolves, lots of elk ...
Run Your Vehicle On HHO + Gas/Diesel???29 Jun 2008 18:52 GMT23
Does anyone here have personal knowledge about converting
to a system using HHO? Such as this link:

Curious to know if there is any possible advantage to this.
Ouch!29 Jun 2008 02:40 GMT4
Our trip isn't going as great as I thought it would! Not only did it take
$200.02 to fill up in Bend, OR (a distance of approximately 350 miles from
Tacoma, WA) but when we left I-84 on our way to the AFB Fam Camp at Mountain
Home, ID , we found ourselves on a gravel road. The ...

Ford V10 Engine Oil28 Jun 2008 18:10 GMT8
I have a MH with the Ford V10.  I had
been using a synthetic blend oil, however,
it seems not to be available anymore.
My question is, what do you all use in this

The heat has been less here in Nor Cal for the last week.
The sunshine is covered by the nasty blanket of smoke.
I have been fortunate for the last several years and
