Anyone towing a Subaru Outback?27 Jun 2008 23:34 GMT30
Anyone out there towing a Subaru Outback with automatic AWD?  Not
interested in a manual transmission.
Motorhome's dinghy guide says it can't be done.
Remco, the people who make the pumps and lockouts, says it can't be done.
E350 driveshaft help27 Jun 2008 22:28 GMT43
I'm trying to remove the driveshaft bolts to replace a bad
U-joint.  It appears to be a spline type bolt head so I picked up some
sockets but metric and SAE both don't work.  Anybody out there got a
clue on this?
Anyone towing a Lincoln MKZ27 Jun 2008 22:25 GMT5
Remco reports the Lincoln MRZ with front wheel drive is towable as is.
As there is no baseplate, perhaps my question is mute.  But, maybe
someone has figured it out so I'll ask.  It is a very nice midsized car
and given the prices are both dropping and financing is available, ...

I was going to post a message that they would soon be up. But, I
discovered that my ISP has dropped Usenet! They claim low subscriber

This is an industry reply to the recent Congress criticism of the Oil
Companies failure to drill in leases already granted.  AKA, why do you want
more?

Fuel prices having an effect?27 Jun 2008 03:59 GMT80
I just returned from a quick trip down to Port Aransas to do some fishing.
On the 600 mile/10 hour round trip from my habitual abode to the capital of
Texas sport fishing and back, I counted two (that is to say, less than
three) Class A RVs on the highway. That includes 300+ ...

Wiring brake controller on Lexus RX400h (Hybrid)26 Jun 2008 16:32 GMT15
Having a hard time finding parts and info to install a receiver and
brake controller on my 2008 RX400h.  Lexus website says tow capacity
is 3500#.  In US, most states require brakes on trailer if over 3000#.
Therefore it is necessary to install some kind of brake controller.

It's a flashsite so I can't give you a direct link.
87 Fleetwood Pace Arrow construction...  baaaaaaaad!!!26 Jun 2008 05:02 GMT17
When I bought this RV as a 'donor' vehicle for my bus project, I was
really hard pressed to put the crowbar to it..  newly smogged and
licensed, 50,000 miles, super running 454 engine with Banks Power Pak.
Good tires, and a great interior..  tuff to strip it down..

I don't always agree with Bill O'Reilly and his "Talking Points"
Editorials. But recently he has been pushing my hot button
big time.
In this piece.....
