Got back to the MH at about 6:00 yesterday, and guess what. We had more
snow!
OK, here's a quick trip summary.
Seeing the kids and grandkids was fun, and being able to attend the

My DirecTV screen says sat 101 (A).
Is that the same as the "101 DTV/AMC4" in your program? Which gives me

Why have an election?12 Jun 2008 15:01 GMT1
Received via email - probably written by a non-Irishman:

We, in Ireland, can't figure out why you are even bothering to hold an
election in the United States.  On one side, you have a witch who is a
It isn't summer yet12 Jun 2008 13:55 GMT28
We made our first trip this year into Yellowstone National Park today.  We
already knew the Beartooth Pass was closed due to avalanches several days
back, but were surprised to find that overnight snow had closed the roads
from Tower to Canyon, Canyon to Fishing Bridge and ...
LP Gas Flow12 Jun 2008 03:24 GMT2
There's a thread going on another group about the observed phenomenon
that if one has an LP tank attached to a BBQ grill and turns the valve
on quickly the flow will be very diminished.  It seems to be occuring
with tanks that have the OPD valves, but some googleing doesn't reveal
FREE: Brand New SHURflo fresh water pump12 Jun 2008 00:35 GMT6
I replaced the fresh water pump on my new 5er.  Anyone here gets first
dibs on the factory installed pump.  I went for the fancy variable
speed pump instead.
The pump I'm giving away is a SHURflo 2088 manufactured in Feb 2008.

Amsoil10 Jun 2008 23:22 GMT35
In January I heard a sales pitch for Amsoil. The guy claimed that I
could regularly get 24 mpg with my Duramax if I used Amsoil in my
engine, and transmission, along with their diesel fuel treatment. I
laughed at him, but since I've been looking for synthetic oil in 15 w
What are my walls made of"10 Jun 2008 23:18 GMT7
I am thinking of adding a couple of things like an
indoor/outdoor thermometer.  That got me thinking about screwing
things into the walls of our Coachman "C" MH.  I don't recall seeing
anything about construction on their site.  Does anyone know what's in
Third trip10 Jun 2008 21:00 GMT4
Well, we are about to head out once again. This time to the annual
Texas Archeological Society Summer Field School. This will be the
first time we have actually had full hook-ups. We dry camped in Big
Bend.
If gas stays at its present level or higher, GOP is dead.10 Jun 2008 16:59 GMT20
I cannot see it coming down quickly unless OPEC decides they want to
keep a friend in the White House and cranks up production a huge amount,
which is unlikely.
The guy in charge always gets blamed for bad news.
Hamster Protection10 Jun 2008 04:17 GMT35
I just read a little blurb which said that the European Union has
ordered France to do more to protect hamsters, one of Europe's most
endangered species, or face Union action.
Maybe our resident hamster should consider moving to France where he

For those who happen to be over the magic age of 62, be advised that
