| Two traveling tidbits | 22 Jul 2008 20:01 GMT | 1 |
1. Traveling north in KY on I75 we encountered construction (surprise). At the end of the construction zone was a sign that said "Resume Legal Speed". Now, we all know what message that sign was intended to convey, but read literally, you would think that whatever speed you had ...

| Thousand Trails Promotions? | 22 Jul 2008 19:19 GMT | 11 |
We are going to participate in a promotion offered by TT from 7/31 to 8/2 at their La Conner, Washington location. Have no intention of buying a membership but figured the $50 gas card will pay for the trip and the free dinner (at Chili's) can't be all bad.

| Campfires, Unusual or not? | 21 Jul 2008 17:25 GMT | 20 |
I have a firepit out back of my townhouse. A very nice copper one. I enjoy a campfire out back of my place on occasion just as much as when out camping. Today I got the impression from someone's comments that it's strange to have a campfire out back of my house? Not that I care
