Converter not charging battery14 Jul 2008 22:27 GMT12
I have an older Progressive Dynamics PD-7655 converter in the MH. It
functions perfectly except it no longer charges the battery. I ran all
the tests from the factory manual (PD no longer supports, or has parts
for this), and they indicate that the little PC board in the charging

Smokey camp14 Jul 2008 20:35 GMT3
We took the 5th wheel a week ago up by Taylorsville, CA and came home early
today.  We stayed outside of Colfax last night.  The smoke from all these
fires is really getting pretty bad. Visibility yesterday morning in Indian
Valley was down to less than 1/2 mile and ash was on ...

This was popular for a short time (in the U.S.) in the mid-50s.
I remembered the tune so when we visited Madeira in '62 I bought the
record.  Don't know if it was that big a hit on the mainland.
GPS POI14 Jul 2008 18:13 GMT2
I found a new feature while looking for something else on POI factory's
website. I know this works with my Garmin c330, & it says it also works with
TomTom.

When RVing, Leave Home (And TV) At Home Where It Belongs.14 Jul 2008 17:24 GMT619
I see occasional questions in the group regarding about satelllite TV
problems in RVs and find it rather odd that it's a topic of discussion
at all in relation to RVs.  It brings to my mind the following
questions:
Vented vs. Ventless?14 Jul 2008 17:18 GMT5
We're looking to buy a new washer/dryer combo unit for our RV. Does anybody
have any comments on vented vs. ventless units? Any specific models to
recommend or avoid?
Thanks much,
Mounting bracket LCD TV14 Jul 2008 04:01 GMT1
I'm about ready to replace my 13" in cabinet TV with a 19-20" LCD TV. I
want to use the same location but realize the new TV won't fit in same
cabinet. I'm looking to either mount it on the door (swings up
vertically) or remove the door and cover the opening with the new TV.

The US standard railroad gauge (distance between the
rails) is 4 feet, 8.5 inches. That's an exceedingly odd
number.

The Great Jeep Dragging Incident13 Jul 2008 18:26 GMT9
Here's a story I have to share in the spirit of  "Don't Let This Happen To
You..."
We were taking short trip to NM a few weeks back, driving our motorhome and,
as is our custom, dragging our venerable Yellow Jeep along for the ride.
I want to kill some dogs...13 Jul 2008 17:52 GMT34
....OK, so I'm over it now. I just walked outside after dinner and found
that one of our dogs has gone on a rampage through our melon patch. Every
one of our little football-sized watermelons and honeydews has been
crunched. There are dozens of little melon bodies laying on the ...

Stabbed by Microsoft13 Jul 2008 10:44 GMT15
My Compaq laptop refused to log on to the internet.  Got strong wireless

Wife's laptop worked fine.  Mega frustration.  Tried ...
