Computer network question31 Aug 2008 19:46 GMT39
I'm getting a "Windows - System Error. There is an IP address conflict
with another system on the network" in a popup message above the tray at
the lower right corner of the screen.
What does this mean, and how am I supposed to correct it? The only other
Bad or Aggressive Drivers31 Aug 2008 16:55 GMT5
We were on the last leg of our 3+ month summer trip.  I was at the
controls.  Less than 10 miles from home.  Driving on AZ-77 heading
southwest of Oracle, Arizona, a little before noon on a 2 lane stretch
of good highway.  Going 60mph pulling our 5th wheel in a 55 zone.  The
Open Office31 Aug 2008 15:36 GMT162
I just got a come-on for Open Office from Java, via an automatic
"update" routine.  A one click down load.
I know some of you use this.  My question is whether there is any
reason NOT to try it out in a VISTA environment.  I don't want to
hydraulic vs electric slides30 Aug 2008 22:06 GMT42
Okay, here is the most recent question / concern.  We are looking at a
few fifth wheel RVs, and we've always had electric slides.  Any
opinions on hydraulic slides?  Differences between the two types?
What about operation of the hydraulic slides in very cold weather?
PING NJ  desulfator30 Aug 2008 03:06 GMT4
I think this was discussed some time back but not sure.
What's your take on battery desulfators?  Do they work?
Don't have time to build one myself so was thinking of a commercial
unit.  I see they can be had for as little as $25 and go up from there.
Wind30 Aug 2008 01:50 GMT10
I keep forgetting to tell you guys about something that happened
last week.
Do you remember the little Thai guy that owns the Flower Nook,
and the house at the corner of 17th and Louise?  I have no idea
Replacing Carefree awning strap30 Aug 2008 00:31 GMT11
Not long ago I asked a question about replacing the awning strap on a
small Carefree of Colorado awning (bedroom window) -- not the large
awning.
Bottom line I did not get any useful answers on the list.

Left the lid off my cat chow and come out in the morning to these two
newcomers..  I took the little guys out of the bucket..  set em down and

It pays to shop insurance29 Aug 2008 20:57 GMT48
I got my latest bill from USAA for my 3 vehicles last week.  I noted that
they'd charged me a late fee.  Since they're paid automatically every month
from my bank's bill pay service, that wasn't possible.  I called them up and
got a smarmy little "like way cool, man" kid on the line ...
One more item off the bucket list29 Aug 2008 16:40 GMT25
Well, I did it today. Made the walk from the pull off at Dunraven Pass, 8771
feet, to the top of Mount Washburn, 10,242 feet. The round trip hike is 5.2
miles, with an elevation rise of 1,471 feet. I made the hike with 4 very
good friends, and we had a blast.
Pictures of the Mount Washburn Hike29 Aug 2008 16:10 GMT12
Here they are. No comments on the pages, but the title of the image kind of
describes the scene.
Like I said, it's a well defined trail and a hike will worth the time if you
can do it. Don't ever try it alone. :-)
where? buy c2c membership28 Aug 2008 22:09 GMT6
Where would a person look for a Coast to Coast membership from an
individual?  I'm not interested in a specific park, just the
membership with a low maintenance  fee. I need a home park to stay a
member of Coast to Coast?
Stabilizers for fifth wheel trailer28 Aug 2008 20:23 GMT55
I need some advice regarding the best type of stabilizers system for my 34'
fifth wheel. I have seen the stand that mounts to the fifth wheel hitch, and
I have seen the jack that mounts between the two wheels and prevents the
wheels from shifting. Any thoughts about the system ...
Grilling: be careful out there28 Aug 2008 17:59 GMT4
Meant to post this earlier in the week.
The Green Cove motel almost burnt last weekend thanks to a careless tenant.
The lady who runs the place woke up early Sunday morning to find a fire
smothering on the redwood deck that overhangs the river.  A hole about 6 ft in
New Coach28 Aug 2008 16:24 GMT1
We have reached a point of jumping into another house or another RV for
semi full timing or sorta or.
We saw one that I don't remember the brand but was about 1.5 million but
could be had for 950, or so I understand.
